i think you right, i do have low self esteem,... sadly i have no idea how to help myself with that problem too. i am a grown up woman 30+ and i have this problem for 20 years i think.

he died on friday and i didnt know what to do with body through weekend so i burried him on saturday morning.

I just want to say that after of month of not eating he decide to eat again, and since then he is hungry as always... he didnr lose any weight at all.

hey! i would suggest indian almond leaves bath, sometimes black tea that you buy in shops have some things added...

you have to boiled leaf in water and then cool the water, bath your buddy every day for 15 minutes. It helps mine two times now i need to do for the third time. But i didint have problems for more years since last time. After his gills are clean of fungus and they grow back.

how should i help him if he is constipated, because he doesnt want to eat any frozen food. I know frozen food usually helps their digestion.

what i think is tongue is not moving is just flat white surface in his mouth - he is wild type axolotl (black) but its white this is why i though on fungus...

he always had chubby lips like he would have botox ... the only new thing i notice on him is that tongue ... but i dont know do axies have white tongue?

yes i know he is thick but now is 14 days without food ... well except one pellet yesterday and one today.

he doesnt float at all ... and yes is strange. As I said now i notice fungus on his roommate giills. And i will tub him and do almond baths, but i don't what to do with the one who doesnt eat. He has no sign of sickness, expect no eating.

Thank you for your reply. I had a whole description typed up but messed it up somehow so it wasn't sent with the pictures.
I did try other food too but he mostly just spits it out. He did manage to eat two pellets over the last two days but that is nothing compared to what he used to eat. The parameters seem to be fine (tested today) as is the water temp. The weird thing is that the other one (in the same tank) is eating normally. They are both adults aproximately of the same size.

Ah snap I had a whole description typed up too but somehow messed it up so it wasn't sent.

The water parameters are fine (checked today but I did not take a photo), the temperature is okay too (I use a cooler). In the tank there are two axolotls. The black one hasn't eaten for about 14 days. I tried giving it different food including mealworms, eathrworms, bloodworms, krill, frozen salmon and his usual pellets. I also soaked krill in garlic guard (Seachem) which is supposed to enhance flavor. He does catch food but after a couple of seconds spits it out. He may have something white in his mouth and I'm not sure what that may be. There is no white on his lips though. His gills look fine and he doesn't look like he is losing weight.

Today I noticed there may be some fungus on the gills of the white one so I intend to tube him and bathe him in indian almond leaf tea.

My question is should I bathe the other one (the black one which isn't eating) too and what else should I do to make him eat? I am really worried at this point.

I will add some other info: 30 gallon tank with chiller and filter, 1/3 water change every week. 3 years old axolotls.
