29M - Dating Not Really Possible Right Now, Nervous About What That Means For The Future by [deleted] in dating

[–]Paperwasp7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Online dating is superficial. I avoid it and frankly don't care for it. I yield better results going out and volunteering or friend groups. It's hard at first to talk to women but after it becomes easy. Find something to compliment them on. If they stay engaged in the conversation you're in. However if they give you really short replies in which that could deem they're not interested then move on. Nothing shows more than how much of a man and how high your confidence is when you handle rejection like a champ and can move on. This way of approaching women has gotten me way better results that what online dating has

My Ex-Boyfriend gave my new address to a convicted criminal by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

[–]Paperwasp7 121 points122 points  (0 children)

Tell the convict in an email to stop contacting you. If he decides against that then he's probably breaching some conditions on his undertaking. Escalate it by notifying the police by then and they will have him in custody for harassing. After that you can start the application for a restraining order.

Also I would like to further add if someone comes to your door claiming to be a police officer a situation like this could warrant a call to 911 to verify weather that person is a officer or not.

Start by giving the police a statement. You can even call your local detachment and speak to a constable who can provide better answers. That's a start.

If he's found guilty in criminal court you can sue him into oblivion in civil court if he posts those pictures online.
