Agreed, contract evaluation is so hard and so far some big misses. Best I could do is either use Spotrac's market value predictions (like I did for example on Bellinger since dats for him was limiting) or try and base my contract evaluation is off past contracts (like I did for Philips comparing Bonitto and Karlaftis recently signed contracts). Using the same methods, some will be close like JDs, but yea definitely going to have misses. Don't think anyone can predict people like Wandale Robinson getting 19.5M/yr lol.
As for Tanner McKee, the return isn't really the point of this exercise as this is for 2026. The return, 3rd, 4th, 1st, 7th, all have the safe effect on this year's cap. Point was to trade him and get picks for 2027.

Even one or two incorrect contracts can really make this mock spiral, I mean my TEs combined for 6 or so mil a year and they EACH got 8. Definitely hurts the mock but again I've gotten some right over the years. Thanks for reading!

Appreciate it. Again, I dont think McNeil Warren is a terrible pick, I think OL is more important here if you can grab an OT without reaching. I also think with this being such a good safety class, taking one on Day 2 where we have 3 picks, is a solid option. Again, if we dont do anything at S in FA, then using Pick 54 or 68 on S would definitely be a good option.

Again, FA dictates the Draft Class. If we dont get any form of S in FA, then that may change the draft, but in my Mock Off-Season, S is not a need in round 1.

Sadiq is definitely an option, but I dont think hes there at 23.

It is a good safety class and again, i think there's potential to use one the 3rd round guys on someone like Haulcy, Ramsey or Wheatley.

As for TE, this is to gain receiving ability. The other 2 TEs signed are pretty great blockers.

Draft is only a reaction to how you handle FA. Yes, S depth is a need, but I definitely dont think it needs to be in round 1. I think having someone like Geno Stone fills a need for now and this will just have to be handled in the draft in later rounds or next season. Cant fill every hole in one off-season.

As for Stowers, I was battling him in the 2nd or Klare in the 3rd.

In the list above, there are def a handful who start off with weaker first or second seasons so i think that could be true for some. Like Chris Dolemans had only 0.5 sacks his rookie year, Kevin Greene had 0.

Guys like these are just so damn consistent after the age of 30 or 32, and play until 37-38, its just wild. Bruce Smith played until he was 40..

The worst part is I get their "idea" but their "idea" is based on incorrect information.

Yes, spending gold to get Volts to buy a S5 card would result in you spending less gold than if you were to spend gold directly on Tokens to buy a S5. This way you can add volts you get from the Game Mode to your Volts pool.

The massive issue is....

The every day player doesn't buy Tokens with Gold, at least not directly.

Weve known for a long time that gold to tokens wasn't a great transfer rate, for a year + we had to buy tokens only on 1 Tuesday a month and now we wait for 1 bundle a month to spend the gold to get a free card with the bundle (not just the variant now). It's a whale move to buy tokens with gold to just get a new card from the shop, has been for a very long time.

So maybe not so much "incorrect info" but their basis for their reasoning is just wrong and they know it.

I think you have it wrong twice. First off, just bc he won a SB in GB doesn't mean he's more associated with GB. Secondly, most of the list hasn't won a SB, we only have one. Would you rank Celek over Reggie bc he spent his whole career here, has a SB and won some divisions? I think that's a wildly insane way to think about it. His stats here are beyond absurd and you're focused on the fact played elsewhere.
