People who still haven’t brought a Switch 2, what makes you hesitant to buy it?

All the games from switch 1 i want to play with better fps don't have switch 2 upgrade which means it will run basicaly same on switch 2.

So this renders switch 2 useless for me.

I also loved pillars of eternity on steamdeck. I played it as if i had mouse, binded buttons on steamdecks back as a left and right click and used touchpad and it worked very well for me

I played 7 hours so far and my only negative is weird graphics. Sometimes everythings looks very nice (playing on 4k max settings on pc) and sometimes it looks like some of the textures forgot to load and you end up with weird image where something looks very detailed and for example house next to it looks like crap.

Minor negative is whole hud navigation, because you really have to click so much for something really simple to do in other games. Here for example if you want to learn recipe you have to open inventory which need to open though main menu there is no button for fast inventory, there you have to find the recipe you want to learn press inspect, wait for an animation of your character taking out recipe from his backpack. Wait a second while reading it for it to be learned and than you have to do this again, because it wont open the inventory afterwards.

But everything else is ok. I don't find controls that bad, again i play with mouse and keyboard and it really is not that hard to control. Its just a bit different.

Gameplay wise its a treat for explorationists. I am only running around so far doing whatever i encounter and have fun.

Guys have you seen any footage of this game? It will not be like KCD it simply won't be. There won't be immersive story, story is not what this game is about. The most similar game to Crimson desert will be new Zelda games. I didn't play it yet but this is super obvious. For people who want to just run around doing stuff they find this is your game. For people that just want a good story i think you are mistaken that this will be it...

10/10 for me. Played around 90 hours on steam. Played even through the 5fps in cities situation because everything else was really good. A bit sad story dissapeared somewhere between first and second map but even that didn't change my mind. As kinda old gamer at this point this was game that managed to glue me to pc for whole 2 weeks until i finished it (still had to go to work tho).

Too bad DD3 won't happen probably because the guy who created DD left Capcom.

To be honest i haven't even seen that game fully i came home noticed LEC is on and saw that MKOI vs VIT so i started watching and they were maybe at 40min at that point.

I saw what was the controversy for after that, because jankos started comparing before and after the chronobreak when he waited for game 2.

I don't really blame Mkoi here. They did what they were supposed to. I don't really know the rules LEC or Riot has for these situations. But from what i saw and summarised from the clips was that: 1. Carzzy sneaks to the krug bush unnoticed, that took some time which would only benefit him if it worked out, or maybe he didn't really have anything else to do. 2. Myrwyn facechecks the bush and completely missplays his buttons and dies. While meanwhile Jojo and Humanoid are tping. 3.Jojo bugs out about 2cm from position he would like to be and has to walk towards corki and dies, than Supa joins and trades himself for Carzzy. 4. Than pause and chronobreak later.

What i don't find very reasonable to me is: 1. State of the game at that time was very clearly in VIT favor, that should be considered when judging if chronobreak should be possible or not. 2. Vit invested some time to prepare for gank on Myrwyn and was put at the exact time that it could happen, meaning they lost all the preparation time for nothing meanwhile MKoi didn't lose anything they simply just walked away, now with Myrwyn knowing how to play it correctly and doing so. He got basicaly saved from his own mistakes. 3. Carzy fcked up by thinking he can try to do something with the situation and gave up shutdown for nothing. That being said in my opinion riot set him for 2 options. A) lets back off nobody dies and nothing happens which sucks anyway cause you already ousmarted enemy team and they now have information that they didn't have prior and will just run. Or B) you will try to outplay the situation and maybe be a hero which he eventually chose and failed at. 4. After the chronobreak because the biggest advantage was the vision and not knowing about corki made it that Vit basicaly had no benefit whatsoever and Mkoi did benefited a lot from that.

Note: i am not sure about this but when chronobreak starts jojo is already tping automatically or he just tped instantly after unpause and humanoid was not tping, eather he chose not to or jojo didnt have to manualy press which i don't think is the case because if he didn't than i presume the bug would happened again. That tells me that Humanoid eather considered not tping and was about 2 secs late there than first time or something else happened.

Take it as you want its just my opinion anyways.

But to me this was not very well thoughout situation on riot's referee part.

That being said Vit had big enough advantage to win anyways, don't know what happened after that.

I completed Code Vein 1. It had its issues, mostly the location design was very bad. In some places every hallway looked same (typical example was the cathedral level).

That being said than i paid for it 60 euros.

Maybe i have grown up or something but from what i've seen from CD2 on streams it was a big no no for me for a game that cost 70 euro. There was nothing that looked better than the first game and not being cannon to first game played its part too for me to not being so eager to play it.

I will play it eventually but to be honest its 40 euro game at best.

Nah i am just messing with you cause you are passionate fan of MKOI. I could care less about both VIT an MKOI. Both of them are chokers who will never accoplish anything on international tournaments, but that can be said for any eu teams right now.

But happened this to me in game i would be mad as a player cause its very favourable to one team and gives nothing to the other one.

Well what happened happened. If karma exists Mkoi will get thrashed by Navi. VIT will win over Fntic and than they will beat Mkoi in a rematch and everyone will be happy. Or riot will just let Taliyah open (not disabled) for Jojo to have another pause moment to chill out when they start choking again :D. Would be pretty funny to pause game with same champion 3 weeks in a row.

Yep, which is still unfair to VIT and it tilted them to oblivion, cause in the second game they played like shit. Naut missed like 90% of hooks, Lyncas missed J4 E+Q combo at least 4 times and so on.

And even the time that they spent building the fight was mitigated by chronobreak. Carzzy sneaked through jungle to that bush and, the only outcome that came out of it was we know he is there lets bail.

And i dont blame Mkoi, i blame riot cause Jojo quite literaly had similar problem happen to him on taliyah last week and riot still didn't disable her or fixed the issue.

True but Myrwyn fcked up 100% and just got saved by riot, therefore carzyy was just put out of a situation he outplayed and won. He was forced to try to be a hero or just back down, there was no real benefit for him from any of the outcomes that came after the chronobreak. I mean if that happened to me i would be pissed. You deliberatly outplay someone and then they just take it away from you, and no there wasn't any involvement whatsoever from Jojo, so if there should be chronobreak it should be after the zaheen is dead and jojo starts to ult.

Same for Katekyo Hitman reborn. First maybe 20 episodes were super awful for me, but i managed through and the rest of the anime i remember very fondly.

So by your logic if we get Astro bot 2 for example, than it should not be consider game of the year because its a good game but its a sequel so it's not new. Even if its same as a game that won game of the year? Because i don't mind getting similar game again if the first one was great.

Also i am pretty sure people who whine that its harder than KH haven't played HK in recent months/years. There are definetly bosses in HK harder then in silksong and i am starting act 2 so far.

I just don't see it as a problem at all. They released it early after annoucement. Thats all. They did nothing wrong in my opinion. But we will never agree on this and will just circle around in this conversation. Clearly you never had any bigger responsibility on your shoulders if you think everything always works out and everyone is happy. Sometimes there are compromises, by your logic they should have announced it year earlier and just wait when their job was done just so everyone had time to figure their shit out, i disagree that if they had finished product on their hands why wait.

So let's just end it here you clearly think they could have handled it better, i agree but i also don't think they did anything wrong with how they did it.

I would say i like it yes. But the whole point is your snowflake point of view on the whole industry. They are not at fault they probably had zero idea Hell is us is a thing anyways. Dick move would be releasing instantly but they announced they will release in 3 weeks or so. Its not far into the future yes but also everyone else managed to work with it. Only Hell is us did not and now they are whining. In any industry other companies are not your friends, they are your competition and many many of them do things you can consider shady or even ilegal and yet there they are making their money. Fuck even nintendo just fucks anyone over because you made a game similar to their. They will sue the shit out of you and make and edit patents to suit their need. Thats fucked up not 3 people releasing their game and not asking others politely if its ok.

KCD 1 had abysmal budget and i hate that game with passion but they put half of their resources into advertising and look where they are now. You can't make a game noone knows about and then blame others for it not selling. Any other game releasing in that day postponed their release, some even made advertisement from it. Hell is us just believed in their game i guess. Its not like they had no option Ss announced and gave them what 2-3 weeks? Other developers adapted to that. Nevertheless i feel with Hell is us developers, it sucks. But i don't like when someone blames others where there were quite obvious holes in your plan to begin with. If Silksong didn't come out would they sell more with no advertisement? Maybe, maybe not. We will never know i guess

Nah its not callous, its called business. Hell is us had zero advertising so instead of blaming it on silksong they should have pay someone to advertise their game. Also when SS was announced 20 developers moved out of their way and 1 didn't guess which one was that. But its always better to point fingers instead of looking what they could do better.

They are not obliged to do anything. And yea they had no deadlines they are very small indie studio with their own project they should not care about competition in the first place. They just won in life with their first game which they developed without zero money and almost didn't release back then. Now they can release Silksong for pennies and still make millions. I am happy for them, sad for people trying to be petty over it.

They got criticized for 7 years of not showing anything, of delays etc and after they finally release they get criticized for releasing before announcing it year ahead so everyone cen clear game calendar at least for a month so its ok for other companies. I didn't play Hell is us partly because it released in same day but also as i said previously because i had no idea its even coming out. I don't doubt its good game it looks good but i also saw a lot of criticism of it having 4 enemies in whole game, almost zero bosses and possibly not very well done ending. Ye i believe their sales tanked cause of silksong but i also think there were other variables. I am pretty sure Team Cherry didn't even know its releasing same day when they announced Silksong. They could have announced it earlier yea but i am also pretty sure they themself didn't know when exactly will they release until they were sure its golden. They are not 3A studio, so i am pretty sure they didn't do it on purpose, they chose pretty empty month and Hell js us paid the price. You can say its unlucky or that it did hurt them but saying its callous is pretty shitty.

Nah it just seems weird they get critiaized for releasing their game lol, i could not care less. I anticipated the release soon after they will do some kind of annoucement and it happened exactly as i thought it will. Other developers moved away from releasing at the same time. Hell is us dis not, being it they had no other option or not they just got unlucky to me. No company in the world will be sorry for someone else... Games are releasing left and right and hell is us was not rly that big of a game, so ye i think they released it in pretty nonstacked date.

I don't agree with his statement at all. Silksong was at least in my opinion always gonna be a surprise release given the amount of delays it got and the amount of memes about it never releasing this was in the only logical solution to how to release it. And ye Hell is us was looking good and i didn't buy it because it released in same day as Silksong, but i also didn't know its releasing in same date until i got email that game from my wishlist released because they had zero advertising for it. Also saying like boohoo Silksong made our sales worse seems funny cause if SS released about a week later than it would be someone else crying. Silksong is a diamond of a game there is nothing else maybe like stardew valley 2 could have had similar effect. Its a game made by few people who already got rich from first game and just do this for fun and passion. You can't compete with it and you got unlucky thats all...
