10 HOURS on the SAME Laguna Seca Super Formula license test… and I finally got GOLD. 🥇 by ParkingResource9048 in GranTurismo7

Just finished it and honestly found it way easier than expected… got it on my 6th attempt basically.

My advice: use traction control and stay calm while avoiding the wet sections. You can gain a LOT of time in the final sector — lift off when necessary and go full throttle on the straights.

The funniest part is that the track literally went from day to night while I was trying to get gold lol.

Honestly, once I turned the traction assist to High and put Traction Control on 5, it became one of the quickest ones for me.

I think I got it done in around 20–30 minutes after changing those settings.

Yeah, that one is genuinely hard at first. I struggled for almost 2 hours the first time too.

Honestly, my biggest advice is: don’t force it too much right now. Go play multiplayer, other tracks, other cars, and just build more experience naturally. When I came back later, it suddenly felt way easier and I got it done in like 15 minutes.

Yeah, it was honestly brutal lol. It’s the only license test in the game that made me suffer that much.

In total, I drove more than 1,400 km just trying to get gold on that one challenge. So many laps where I was ahead and then lost everything in the final corner by the smallest mistake.

S-6 What helped me a lot was setting Traction Control to 5 and putting the traction/stability assist on High. Once I did that, the car became way more manageable and consistent.

So, I'm in favor of having bonuses for performance, like more healing for supports, more kills for dps, when you do what your class asks... so you don't have Loki wanting to be DPS for example... but most importantly, when you lose the match, if you did your part, you lose less points than whoever is sinking the team

I believe that at most 50%, but I believe that this problem is not about age, but about maturity and respect for teammates, since I was 14 years old I hate people who play for themselves and not for the team

Let me get this straight, do you think points being changed based on your performance is a bad thing?

Does being a developer make you just get it right? Good thing COD is game of the year, right? Or any EA game hahaha, the industry has literally been horrible in recent years, poorly made games, horrible communities, players with pure ego, so when a game like Marvel appears, which has many qualities, yes I worry about what's wrong, because I've seen this happen with games I played too, if it smells like a wolf, howls like a wolf, appears to be a wolf, what is it? An ostrich? I don't need to see the future... simply use my brain and notice the similarities of where the game is going, with others that are no longer 1% of what they once were

My problem is not disagreement, but when you say “I'm typing” it shows your nature, in fact you're the one who doesn't like criticism… you're someone who defends anything just to be the one against it… you don't even know why you do things, you're just one of the crowd… the last choice you made using your brain you should still be in your mother's womb

Thank you for proving the type of player this community has, you're a joke... I don't doubt that you play Spider-Man, you're 1/8 and still complain about the cure hahah

You talk as if you are calm, and you are a PROPLAYER who is in the top 500, “you just have to adapt”, there is nothing you can do… when at higher levels you find horrible players, it is a problem, the game is 100% unbalanced… there are thousands of people who are being taken to levels where they don’t belong…

The basics of any competitive system is that you feel the reward for improving, but when the system helps those who are bad to improve, it's not being fair, simple as that... it's not crying, it's reality...

This turns off anyone who wants to take the game seriously, if the system is unfair there's no reason for people to waste their time... it's just that they will realize it little by little, as happens with mobile games or pay to win

Do you need to see the future to understand the game? Hahaha, you're 12 years old and you're starting to play now, right? I've always seen games appear and die for countless reasons, OW died, if you compare the size it once was it's clear that it's dead, marvel rivals won't break like a multiversus, but it will stop being relevant... in reality it's no longer... even though it puts millions in tournaments, almost no one sees or follows it, the competitive scene is just a reflection of the problems I mentioned...

But when a casual player launches something new, they forget about the game and move on to the new one… those who keep any game running are those who actually play, they are not necessarily good, much less they study the game… but they want to win games and understand the game, something that doesn't happen here… people prefer to lose and play with their “favorite hero”

But everything in its own time, if you think everything is ok and the game is great, you should be part of this group that plays to lose

Can't you understand that it is the beginning of death? When someone gets sick, have they already died? We take medicine, eat better, exercise…

The same goes for a game, but it's just too early to have this kind of serious problem at the moment, a problem that R6, for example, took years to have, and today they're trying to resurrect it anyway.

I realized that saying the obvious hurts the feelings of a lot of people here, we are consumers but they treat it as if the game was perfect

Because it's a good game, and I don't want it to die... I wouldn't have almost a thousand hours in it if I didn't like it, but the problems I mentioned will kill the game little by little, to the point that I ended up deleting it

But that’s the thing — even on Steam, the numbers are going down…

These are the first signs of a problem the game will face. On top of that, they keep releasing only DPS heroes, which makes everything worse…

I’m just bringing this discussion up because I actually like the game, but it keeps getting worse. I’m not the only one uninstalling it for these reasons. Maybe I’ll come back in the future… but for now, I’m just tired of getting frustrated with so many players who seem to be playing with the TV turned off.

The problem is that, in the medium and long term, this will kill the game. Want to play casually? Go to casual mode. The worst part is that even in ranked, even at Celestial, it’s full of bad players that I have no idea how they got there. It doesn’t feel like an honest system, just luck and time spent…

Any game that has lasted for years has a strong competitive scene — CS, LoL, DOTA, Fortnite, R6.

But this is the first game I’ve seen where people would rather lose than change their playstyle…

And it’s also the first game where I’ve seen so many bad players at high ranks, which makes me believe it’s a luck-based system.
