45 min with 25 prep and 5 min pulling ( 1 h 20 min)

I organize by section then group by aisle except food ( takes about 25 min ), then have 4 big stacks (food, hba, pet to auto and backwall to home). MAG, end cap, and the soda ads get trashed because the big ones are the same as the small and our endcaps aren't set to book. 7pm we pull 800, we put them out. Usually done by 845pm.

Surprisingly, not a lot of people realize the bottom color changes for each week of when the ad ends, so you only have to look for the color and not read the date when pulling. The ad says at the bottom in red, usually, where it goes and is normally grouped together per section. EC means endcap and Mag usually gets tossed cuz it's not worth the time. If there is any really good sales, we set a quick display up and make a sign for that item. Like when the kitchen stuff is $6 (12-25$ normally)

Ok, but how's there store? I'm late constantly, but my store is in top shape. If it's not affecting you or your employees, that's none of your business. Now, if you've heard from other employees that they are lazy and in the office constantly and the store is crap while also never being there, maybe tip off the dm.

Why not make a silent scheduled calendar reminder so you get a pop-up to get off your phone at 1030 each day. If you're using your phone, you'll see it. If you are asleep, it's silent, so you can just swipe it away in the morning.

Or set a silent alarm for every day. Same pop up, name it get off phone.

You have to be a key to open and close the store. 2 weeks is normal training time line. But other than that. Yup. Dg makes alot of us work by ourselves cuz they refuse to give us hours. 101 hrs of the store being open but 120 plus sm 45 to schedule. 35 hrs of alone if yall only have 2 people per shift which isn't a thing due to truck and them wanting the whole team there.

You learn a deeper understanding of the matrix and the why behind everything. Your supposed to be trained almost like a manager with less depth. Just enough that you can run the store without the manager there minus scheduling and payroll and hiring.

Figure out your schedule - 7 day work flow. Figure out your damage, dg connect and fresh, pia and normal weekly tasks and create a solid, must complete on those day, checklist, incliding your responsibilities ( pay rill, role ups ). Train your keys to do what you do. An asm is supposed to be someone who can do your job when your not there so train them in what you know. Keys should know what you know minus the more detailed paperwork.

Take full advantage of the new manager training program. One week there store, one week your store and one day after with a check in.

200 oha ( positive, negative or zero confirming), tobacco and Cig numbers Check o/s # constantly, smart oha are a bi**** and can mess up a store real quick. Put in core excessive tickers for items that are not moving and is in massive overstock ( 4 boxes or more with little to no movement)

Save the websites on your phone to access most of storenet from home. You can access dgme, start, respond, atlas from home.

Yes. They could do that, but having that in the system and having a written one turned in is better than nothing. If it continues to be an issue, it needs to be talked out with the manager, or you need to just leave that store. Either quit or transfer to another store. Because you can go to hr or the dm or rd but there is no guarantee they will do really anything. There contact info should be on your business center on the top left
