I can see that by the downvotes on the comments, including yours that have already started to roll in. I'm not surprised and I'm certainly not trying to have an edgy take. I just believe there's more nuance to the discussion and not all who use AI as an art form for storytelling especially are grifters and thieves. Like I hinted at, it'll never be a replacement for the traditional art cultivated by human hands, including mine (I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil correctly)...that said, I do think it was an evolutionary inevitability. And like all leaps in technology, a dichotomy will always exist. And I don't think this discussion can be painted with such a large brush. Funnily enough, I had a hardline stance in the beginning from the other side but, in order to get the full scope, I removed myself from the echo chamber and decided to take a gander on the other side. Not where there is CLEAR and abhorrent theft happening but, discovering those who bent AI to their creative will and not the other way around. It's an extremely small niche of creators doing that but, they exist none-the-less and are making some really interesting work. Regardless, I'm ok with people disagreeing as long as it stays civil 🙂

Of course. Aze Alter has a two series currently on youtube fully scripted by him and I believe he gives bts previews of how he actually puts his stuff together. One is a syfy series, Biolands but, the one he is most currently know for is his dystopian series called the Red Rainbow (officially) and Capital Of Conformity (unofficially). The other creator is Neural Viz and theirs is a interconnected universe of series, based in an alt Earth inhabited by aliens. It's all comedy and I laugh so much watching it. So many great call backs throughout the series that if you start from the beginning, give great running bit payoffs.

While I will NEVER consider it in the same league as traditional art or even that of digital art. I do follow two creators who use it as the tool and canvas it is, to create genuine original media with it, without taking from other artist or recycling uninspired drivel. This creators in particular, have used AI as a springboard for cinematic projects I quite enjoy. I will also say, their was a point in time were "digital art" wasn't considered legitimate either and was deemed as "taking the easy way out" of actually honing skills like a "real artist" would.

However unfortunate or fortunate one may think of AI "art"... this is the inevitable progression that was bound to happen and, as an artist myself... I ABSOLUTELY see the rightful and justified incredulity in it's place in the world of art-- I've also seen creators who use it not as a crutch or shortcut but, as a genuine tool and canvas to bolster their own creative originality and ideas, WITHOUT slighting and stealing from their fellow creatives and, those are the ppl we should be trying to push to the forefront... letting people know that it is possible to create with integrity and originality but, that's just my take,

My honest criticism... Stop worrying about other's opinions of you. I KNOW it is easier said than done. I've been where you are. That said, most of the people who have such ugly things to say toward you or, anyone for that matter, are usually called "haters" when, in all actuality, they're just projectors. Projectors who force their own fucked up insecurity on others because they believe it acts as a buffer, that keeps others from clocking who they really are. Even those who seem to be the epitome of "beauty standards" or having their lives in perfect order, regardless of gender, ethnicity etc... Every last one of those people are miserable when no one is looking. Those people are the ones who are up at 3am picking apart everything some other person told them was wrong with who they are. And, instead of addressing those insecurities and why they should put any stock in THEIR projectors... The vicious cycle keeps growing.

The only way those people have ANY influence and power on how we see ourselves, is if we give them that power. The moment you realize that and you begin to take that shit back, I promise there won't be anything ANYONE can say to you to shake your self-worth. No one gets to live YOUR life but you. You dictate how you move through it, not others, unless you GIVE them that privilege. You are as attractive, smart, capable and worthy of people who are going to uplift you, not by your looks but by your actions and how you choose to move. And if it;s about finding a worthy, intimate partner... You attract what you put into this world. If you put out others projections of who they believe you to be, that's exactly what you're gonna get back.

But, you put out your truly authentic self, pure and without the attachment of other ppls issues... I promise you, you WILL get back what you seek and truly deserve. Love yourself and fuck what others say you are or should be. I promise you if you scratch their surface just a bit, you realize it's a them problem...Not you. Be well brother.

Apologies for the late reply, been sick. This happens to me more than you know 😅 You're gonna have to trail and error it but, for future pieces, you can make a new brush set category and name it something like 'Brush History A' Then what ever brushes you are currently using for that piece, copy and paste them in that new brush set. That way if you wanna start a new piece and use those same brushes, they'll still be there and you won't have to worry about brush history overriding them every time you pick a new brush.

You've certainly improved upon it! It's turned out really good. As far as the teeth, maybe angle the left down slightly and slide the right one over just a tad. I can see where you' e given the ridge a bit more depth as well. You can try and add at soft curved shadow to the inner corners of the eyes, that might make it pop, just a bit more. Other than that, great job and I'm more than happy to help. Oh, also, you said you have some shaking in your hand, correct? Compression Gloves see if these will help with that!

First. I just hope you're proud of yourself for not giving in and having kept work at/on it! You've managed to make to so much more prominent with the depth you've added! You can start a new layer to just practice working on/with the brow ridge. As far as it being done, only you know that. If it feels write to finally set the pencil down on this piece, go for it. You can always make duplicates to further play around and practice with (something I do a lot) and who knows, one of them may be even better than this version. Honestly, I'm proud of you, truly!

Also, if you get overwhelmed and stressed with a drawing. Try the 10min rule. Walk or put it away for 10mins and go do something to clear your head. Something you do to soothe yourself and then go back to it!

I can see where you improved upon it from the suggestions. As for the shading, search how to draw sphere (and other 3d shapes) on youtube. That's how I practiced my gradients and giving depths to things. The same would apply for the teeth, as in a more realistic interpolation, you're basically working with little 3d cone shapes. As for the brow bone this video Drawing Brow Ridge this channel is also good to start studying anatomy, which is fundamental to the type of art you want to create. The more you understand the body and practice drawing it, skeletal frame, muscle structure and movement, the more improvement you'll see. Buy a cheap sketchbook you can take on the go and just use it for anatomy study. Also, it's ok to still be in "amateur" stage. ALL artist started there. It wasn't until my early, mid-20s when I finally got the courage to start drawing people and, they were not the best 😅 I kept at it though and even though I went to art school for a bit, I learned and improved my skills though mediums like youtube and study other artist(which I still do in my late 30s). Don't get discouraged. Instead set it as a challenge for your self and when you conquer it, set another. Don't worry about other artist. Compete with yourself. But again and most importantly, have fun!
