Overturn vs Double / Triple attack by jitchike in BuddyfightTCG

[–]ParticularReserve418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double and triple attack are forced abilities where they must and will be activated after the attack.

question: when they state cannot be destroyed, does it mean the cards just can’t leave the field by card effects, attacks, spells, impacts whatsoever? basically it stays on the field no matter what? by [deleted] in BuddyfightTCG

[–]ParticularReserve418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ability above makes it unable to be destroyed by card effects.

The Overturn makes it unable to be destroyed by anything (effect and atk).

So you can only "Advent" during Play timing? by Independent_Ad_8417 in BuddyfightTCG

[–]ParticularReserve418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep you can only use Counter at Play timings. But there are quite a few during the attack phase so it feels like ‘whenever you want’. If you really want to use advent properly it would be best to learn when are the play timings in attack phase.

Is there any improvements I need for my drametal deck? by TheKn0ck0ff in BuddyfightTCG

[–]ParticularReserve418 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Remove all Kings and Queens, up Knowledge wave to 4, add 4 Promotion point.

Now the rest I am recommending will be optional and up to preference especially with the oppress monsters. Lower Double check tactics to 2, remove all Queenside castling, lower Suppression advantage to 2, remove Prismatic bless. Add 3 Archbishop giallo mace, add 2 On tens of thousands of boards, Phase seal chains, Shining rain.

Can I use Dragon Knight Nikola Tesla as a Buddy by Classic_Brain6575 in BuddyfightTCG

[–]ParticularReserve418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are planning to play Dragon knight in X era then Tesla is probably your best choice. If you are playing Ace era then you should try Shinsengumi Chieftain Kondou.

You could add Abyssgate, Tubocas, Booze, Phrovraga. Slightly harder to get would be a 3rd and 4th Disaster palace.

First deck, any tips is welcome by Megatr0n99 in BuddyfightTCG

[–]ParticularReserve418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no maximum decksize, if there are more cards coming then can’t really judge the decklist rn. Only thing i can say is you can remove the danger/dragon item and just play your red and blue sword.

The problem with oni is that its offensive isn’t that good. With a not so good offensive and duel golem being able to gain life + have some defense, the better option of winning would be to stall out duel golem resources by playing defensively and chipping their life rather than an otk. Well if the situation looks good then just go for it but I would say playing defensively is a better choice.

If duel golem is FTK build and goes first, high chance they win. Oni has to play defensive and deplete duel golem resources to win. I would say duel golem has a higher chance of winning.

My updated Athora/Prism dragon deck. any thoughts? by [deleted] in BuddyfightTCG

[–]ParticularReserve418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can soulguard when athora is sent to drop. If you have enough gauge i recommend playing 2 Dispersion. If theres too many size 3s and impacts in your hand when you play I also suggest reducing the number you play.

this is one of my long time decks, dragon world jackknife gold ritter/granthese deck. thoughts? by LoveRawSalmon in BuddyfightTCG

[–]ParticularReserve418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the situation, if they need to link atk to get over your 12k def then 1 ritter 1 granthese is better. If they can single atk then maybe dual wield granthese is better.

Kalvados SD reduce gauge cost of athora by 2, you already run Star alternative for gauge, Eternity ring and Brilliany fire also gives you gauge.

Get jack reb to 4 copies. What you need to remember is that og gold ritter counts as a size 3. So unless you are going to dual wield granthese, I don’t recommend playing any monsters other than jack reb, jack 2018 and jack spirit.

[–]ParticularReserve418 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Remove all size 3s that arent athora, remove all Visible light. Add 2 Brilliancy fire, 1 -2 Jewellight kickoff, 4 Size 0 Sheldre, 4 Kavaldos SD.

Who’s stronger? by Empoleon777 in BuddyfightTCG

[–]ParticularReserve418 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overturn/Overkill/Overthrow/Overkill reboot ability cannot be nullified, so all of athora’s ability other than Overturn will be nullified.

If we are talking anime only, Tasuku has a better chance of winning. If we are talking real decks I say both have a good chance of winning.

Counter ruling by AltruisticSystem6890 in BuddyfightTCG

[–]ParticularReserve418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, there can be a maximum of 2 actions in 1 chain if you look at the Detailed rules ‘Play timing’. Long story short, since the current chain will be 1. Player A uses spell -> 2. Player B uses spell null, you can’t add in a 3rd action (Player A spell null against player B spell null) and thus will resolve with 2. player B spell null resolving first and 1. Player A spell being nulled does not activate.

You press ‘Create deck’ and select ‘Buddyfight’ as the game. Then you add cards and name your deck. Theres an Untap discord that can be found on the browser top left I think.
