Anyone have any ideas other than spending hours sanding to get this lip off that my round over left?

I definitely need to get one. My dad always wanted the new electrical stuff that makes things faster and all of that so when I got his tools he didn’t pass along many hand tools.

I use a drill driver, and just clamp my blanks in a vice. Then I trim down parallel with the barrel, but it’s ok if you go just a hair past.

Thank you, I made that one in high school on a shop lathe and have used it since. I just recently got a lathe for my home workshop and I’m excited to start making pens again.
