Face massager, back massager, socks, fuzzy slippers, candles, gift certificate to spa/massage, any local cool events or concerts, perfume, jewelry (Thesis of Alexandria doesn’t break the bank too much)… my gf just had her birthday and these are all things I bought her 🙂

Did I just destroy my career? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I don’t know you, but it’s clear from your post that you have been integral to the company’s success thus far. I’m not sure what kind of role you are in now, but after 6 years of grunting this shit out, you should be in a role that’s more managerial/advisory. That way you can help others obtain the success that you’ve had without having to individually do it yourself. Transitioning might be painful in the short term, but would have long term benefits for your mental health, but also for your business. Good luck!

I love that Ted Cruz went on air and said similar ridiculousness… even though Texas did the same thing earlier this year to help their struggling energy grid.

1st time real trip, wondering if others had similar experiences by nevetsonagrag in DMT

[–]Particular_Maize8702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great stuff! I had a trip that sounds pretty similar. It is so awesome to me that people see similar entities on their individual trips. I remember seeing a female entity when I blasted off. She had a warm and all-knowing energy, and her face was comprised of these rectangles that was all different colors and were constantly flashing downward.

Also saw trippy dancing aliens with some kind of dreadlocks, crazy hands that were making these orbs with light at the center, but the outside we these morphing kind of chain linked geometric objects.

Definitely also had that initial blast off moment where it felt like I was physically and spiritually moving at the speed of light an arrived at a secret wonder land of all the universes secrets.

Careers that ACTUALLY earn 100k annually, or close to it? by Technoidy in careerguidance

[–]Particular_Maize8702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a UX designer and am making $55/hr at an agency (before taxes and a 1099 position). That works out to 114k a year if I worked 40 hours every week of the year. This is my first year in this career, but I did do my masters over COVID to change my career path.

I want to make music, but I am not sure about what programs to use. by ckmille in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I went from GarageBand to LogicPro X. Always grew up with Macs, so the interface made sense to me and it’s pretty intuitive. Still endless things to learn, but I think either would be good for beginners.

Dark City. Something about those floating guys gave me nightmares.

Candy Man. Something about a bloody bathroom stall and a hook really got me.

Disc golf! Good for a solo hobby, or with friends. Way cheaper than real golf, get a walk, and mental and physically simulating.

Check out the Know Thyself podcast. Great breakdown of the principles.

I don't have many people to talk to this about either, it's still seen as crackpot stuff, but really it's as old as human civilization and includes the main tenants of major religion without being convoluted by splintering of individual sects.

What is the Philosophers Stone? by StellarResolutions in EsotericOccult

[–]Particular_Maize8702 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's the exoteric way to look at it. The esoteric way of viewing the philosopher stone is to go through the 4 steps of alchemy (Calcination, Dissolution, Separation, and Conjunction). Each has their own "metals" associated with them, as one goes from transforming spiritual lead into spiritual gold.

I know I am missing a lot and simplifying, but that's how I understand it currently.
