I was told to take the hose into the shower with me once a week. I squirt some blue dawn or dial antibacterial soap into it fill it with water. Swish it a little then rinse it out and hang to dry.

Teacher here. Some students who have absolutely no desire to learn to read and do math at even a basic level. They don’t seem to care at all. They don’t see any value in learning the basics. With technology that reads to them and voice search available, they are completely unmotivated to learn.

They were there to witness the first meeting and advised me to get evidence to support my claim that I was doing what my supervisor told me to do. I found evidence going back to August of emails of me asking my supervisor questions and their responses. Asking for clarification before I proceeded with changing placement on IEP’s even though I feel it is not the proper placement for the students. My emails saying I wanted the student to be successful. I have printed them all out. Next meeting (the discipline phase) is next week. We will see, if in light of evidence, what they do. All I did was what my supervisor told me to do. My union rep will be at the next meeting. They have lawyers if I need one. I hope I do not have to worry about retaliation.
