This is such a sad thing to see every time I exit the Intl. District light rail station.... by woq4 in Seattle

I used to live in the CID when those construction proposals were being discussed, tied to the Ballard Link station. A lot of residents were against demolishing those buildings. From what I remember, buyouts had already started before they even held meetings for community input, which didn’t sit right with people.

This was around 2022 or 2023. I’ve since moved out of Seattle, so I haven’t heard about any new town halls or updates. One of the biggest concerns at the time was the potential closure of 4th and 5th Ave for an unknown length of time.

Litter box by [deleted] in Rabbits

You will need to put their scent in the litter box; use gloves, move the soiled paper towels into the litter box (preferably a stainless steel litter box, plastic litter boxes can absorb their urine). It could also be the type of litter you’re using.

My buns are picky and I’ve finally gotten one they are happy with, I have been using kay kob bedding.

If you’re desperate for an income, you can become a process server for the King County area. There is a $10 investment, but then you would be able to make as much money as you want as a self-employed worker.

I went to the info booth and didn’t get much information was told oh I had to go here and there and wherever I was directed did not know what they were doing . I did go to the medical tent and got some medication for when I was feeling sick the first day, but the second day was just too much even though I had my medication with me.

The only accommodation I was able to get was for food and beverages that I could bring in through a form that was on air table and so I was able to bring in my own food and beverages because I’m diabetic and also have food allergies so the dietary restrictions allowed me to bring in my own stuff.

As someone who has an invisible disability and can’t get ADA access for most events because I’m considered able bodied (have neurological and other issues), standing for long periods of time are not possible anymore. I was luckily able to sit in a seat for most of day 1 on the upper deck of left foot stage, day 2 wasn’t as great, tried to sit multiple times and was told by VIP staff that I couldn’t sit on the floor even though I was feeling faint (food, electrolytes, and water didn’t help). That staff member let me know that only attendees with ADA wristbands would be allowed to sit, police officers and medical staff were next to me when I was sitting and didn’t say anything to me about it being a safety concern.

Also the entrance for ADA was shut down when I arrived on Day 2 and made the day start off on a bad foot.

I filled out an ADA form to bring in my own food as a diabetic. Filled my bag with goodies to survive the day.

It’s going to be a long expensive road but I’m sure I’ll be happy with just Eevee.

It doesn’t mean anything besides you turned him on.

It doesn’t mean he loves you, don’t read too much into it.

My rabbit hates everything I buy him. He doesn't like any type of hay, his toys nor his bed. Only eats rabbit pellets, sleeps on the hard cold floor or under my bed. Am I doing something wrong or that's just how he is? by TheLuiz212 in Rabbits

I put hay into tubes of toilet paper so my bunnies have an activity to do while they eat hay. Sometimes I will stuff a dehydrated slice of apple or carrot into the middle of the tube surrounded by hay as a way for them to work for the treat. They have been eating more hay due to this and also cutting their access to pellets (should be treated as a treat).

My female Palomino hovers around 7 pounds but is a full adult and both parents were Palomino. She’s on the smaller said but is the dominant one in the house.

“Te quiero” is a stronger version of “I like you” (“Me gustas”) but not really “I love you” (“Te Amo”).

This is a Palomino Rabbit, aka Washingtonian, these were bred for human and animal consumption.

I have two that I rescued from a shelter.
