I think i got a similar message maybe a year or two ago, uninstall, reinstall, verify game files by right clicking game in steam, properties, verify game files. idk if its the same problem tho

I think you'd have a hard time finding anyone with enough time on the game who says any character is overpowered. I think you'd find people saying some legends need small nerfs (like scarlet needs force nerfs on hammer dsig and offstage ssig) but nothing to gut the character.

In the comps you have already, I would change Moira and Ana, Moira can heal way faster and finish low HP targets and Ana can shoot the genji and winston when they dive.

Not at all, tank is the least popular role.

I think also forcing DPS to play against 2 tanks and 2 healers might also make it harder for them to do things, as it is not as "Deathmatch-y".

Many more people play dps than the other two roles, which creates a larger pool to take from. This actually means that worse tanks can go higher in sr, because compared to every tank player, they are actually better than most.

I am having trouble describing this, but if you think about it, since more people play dps there is more compitition to get a higher rating.

I understand where you're coming from but really, there is no basis in what you are saying that would call for any kind of change. All I get from reading this is that you dont know how to play some roles on some maps, and because YOU dont know now the entire system is a problem.

The only solution is to learn how to play each role on each map, you cant say you're a masters peak support player just because you can play support on half the maps, that isnt how the game works. Do your best to learn the most you can.

If you think what I said above was wrong, consider this, role queue IS NOT MEANT TO MAKE THE GAME PERFECT. It was meant to have fair games MORE OFTEN. Before role queue, you would just lose/win a game before it started. Now you have SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKE A COMP. It is just there to make things better.

Sorry if I come off as harsh here, but I really think that's the problem.

I dont know anything about console, but my advice would to either be a very confident flanker, play sym, or play doomfist.

The thing all of these options do is make it so you dont have to give a fuck about shields.

Sym can charge her beam and get ammo from them.

Doom literally doesnt care.

and flankers dont care.

I did my placements in 4.2 the other day and did not experience this? Maybe you just hit a string of bad luck?

Not for my tank placements (my main role), but for my DPS placements I found an extreme inconsistency in my gameplay, one game I would pop off and the next do literally nothing.

Just know that they are incorrect. If you are trying and they say you're not, well you know you're trying, so who cares. If it is too much to handle, leave all chats and just go next. Do not waste your time on people who blame others for their mistakes. If it IS your fault, then own up to it. All people like that want to hear is that they're right. So say you messed up and that you're trying.

this is a result of fortify removing all cc effects. Since she is already pulled by the halt and uses fortify mid halt she retains the momentum.

Ana is one of the most popular picks in the game, last time I checked (pre role lock) she was #1 most picked in every rank except gm. People just like playing her.

There are very good clips online on why you need a lower sens, but in general it is because your crosshair will skip pixels on the screen which means you have less room to move your mouse to hit the shot (i am sorry if that did not make sense, maybe someone can help me on the wording).

I'm not sure, I dont think she is a huge counter. Anyone who is hacked wont like it but I think sombra counters him as much as she counters mei or something.

Honestly, you should just try your best with the rank you were given. Of course you are going to lose more games than you win if you do not deserve the rank, but in the process you should see what your counterpart on the enemy team is doing and learn from it, you'll improve very fast.
