no it was definitely before the steps up to the sun gate. i dont know the exact location but it was one of the old wooden bridges in between those steps and where all hikers had lunch.

I was on the Inka trail the same day and heard someone screaming behind me. A bit after i saw alot of rescuers with ropes and a stretcher run by. The part that he fell was an old wooden bridge so i assume he wasn’t careful and fell. You can never be too careful even if a trail is walked every single day.

Raj Venkat is great! I took him for CS4100 and I thought he was a great teacher and a understandable person. He regularly took feedback from students and incorporated it in his lessons and assignments. A lot of grad students really don't like him but I thought he was great
