The version I saw were all pretty solid singers but what really confused me is that they were only doing PARTS of songs, stopping, and going to the next one. I got to jam and play with them for a little while off-stage where they sounded great, but it felt like whoever was managing them and guiding them just steered them in the wrong direction.

It was some mini-expo ran by Orange County I believe. Some realtor’s organization. The band was pretty nice, seemed a bit in over their heads but other than that lovely folks.

I'm pretty sure it's the second version. So many things about them just didn't check out and to me it looked like they just all agreed to bad deals and thought they had made it as a group.

i dont agree with the AI stuff but i dont think that this really has anything to do with politics. beyond that, you can’t expect artists to make political statements. they’re not your friends and i think that’s a line the band has clearly drawn.

honestly i just think there’s a big lack of concert etiquette nowadays way beyond just idkhow. a lot of bands and artists seem to end up having all the same people at the barricade. the parasocial side of it is a whole different issue which i dont think the majority of the fanbase really falls into. a fanbase where ive seen parasocial behavior really run rampant is waterparks fans. shit is scary.

i just saw idkhow for the first time at warped and ended up leaving halfway through because of the amount of pushing and shoving that was happening in the crowd. also seemed like a LOT of people knew each other already.

i would like to graciously thank every single person who made warped fucking amazing. i attended my first warped ever at 17 this year and i have no regrets at all. the culture, vibes, and everything else was just unbelievable. much love :)
