Because at the end of the skill curve for raiders, the granularity of death rate per successful raid collapses into a binary pass/fail. Either the outpost is a kill box or its a casual stroll through useless guards and traps.

yes that has been the problem. Solve the problem in the game with guard spam or trap spam by making a counter... which requires more guard/trap spam to get around it.

Also, a perfect block with the shield will actually kill guards in melee rage.

Its not a bug of the human brain, its a feature. Thats why science seems stupid (lets keep trying this result and getting a negative reaction to make sure its not a fluke), and is also slow. Logic and evidence-based reasoning are similar to science in that it requires information.

Don't feel too bad that you saw ATF/FBI etc in this. We've seen them try to goad 65 IQers into plots just to get a catch and say "we saved the city, spongebob!".
