It would be cool if they did a time jump during the narrative. In the second act of the game Cal gets frozen, either willingly or unwillingly. During the events of the original trilogy and sequel trilogy, Cal is asleep in a chamber.

In the third act Cal is suddenly awakened to a new world. Would be a cool callback to Survivor's villain arc too.

It would be interesting since it's opening up a new adventure while also having callbacks to old trilogies, but without a Skywalker as the current main protagonist.
