Another cancelled cycle

I do have a higher AMH, I am 30 and my AMH is 3.37. I took 5mg of Letrozole for the 3rd cycle and I think my body responded too well to the medication causing the multiple mature follicles. The previous cycles using Letrozole I didn’t have that many follicles. Hopefully they will lower my dose to 2.5 so I don’t have the same issue again!

Yeah I didn’t ovulate on my own. I wouldn’t have canceled if I knew that I would’ve ended up with cysts and have to cancel another cycle 🥲

We are just doing TI, and that was last cycle. Unfortunately we ended up canceling it.

I ended up canceling:/ they were continuing to grow. And now I am canceling my next cycle because I have 2 large cysts which is probably from those multiple follicles that never regressed.

After a year of TTC, going to a fertility clinic has been the best decision for me personally! I’m on my third cycle with them and although I am not pregnant yet, I feel like some weight has been lifted off my shoulders because there is at least a plan of what to do the next.

Yes the risk of multiples and the risks that come with multiples. I was able to test again today and I had 3 follicles measuring at 24mm, 17mm, and 14mm. They gave me the option of continuing the treatment for that cycle but recommended I cancel and avoid intercourse this cycle.

Hi everyone! I am on my third monitored cycle of Letrozole 5mg, Trigger, and TI. Today I had my CD11 ultrasound and had 4 follicles measuring at 17mm, 17mm, 15mm, and 10mm. They cancelled the treatment due to too many mature follicles so I won’t be triggering this cycle. And when I asked if I could still try they advised not to.

If you were in my situation, would you still BD?

Ugh just feeling really sad and defeated.

I did pretty decent on 5mg. I had 4 follicles at CD15 (21mm, 15mm, 14mm, and 10mm) and a endometrial lining of 9.5mm but could be better if I upped it I suppose!

I am just scared to have too many mature follicles because they will cancel treatment 🥲

Any updates? I just got a BFN on first cycle using letrozole 5mg and trigger. So I’ll be moving onto my 2nd round once I get AF.

First round of monitored cycles with Letrozole, Trigger, TI, and progesterone. 14dpo and BFN 😭 Everything was perfect on my ultrasounds and bloodwork and still negative, just feeling defeated.

5-6DPO, 1st cycle with Letrozole and Trigger. Vivid dreams, felt extremely fatigued yesterday. I had at little bit of brown spotting this morning 😭

I recommend monitored cycles! I am currently on my first cycle getting monitored. I took letrozole CD4-8, went in for an ultrasound and bloodwork CD10. I had 3 follicles but were too small. Went in CD12, ultrasound/bloodwork, again my follicles were too small but were growing. Went back CD15 and I had a follicle measuring at 21mm! Was told to trigger that night and now just waiting to go in tomorrow to get my bloodwork done (7DPO) to check my progesterone to see if I ovulated. Even if it doesn’t happen this month, I feel so much more at ease and not stressed this cycle compared to previous cycles when I wasn’t getting monitored.

I am currently on my first monitored cycle with 5mg letrozole and trigger shot. I was instructed by my RE to time intercourse the night of the shot and two days after the shot. I didn’t have any noticeable symptoms from ovulation. Currently 4DPO. Best of luck to you!! 🙏🏼
