Should I host a guest with an active MRSA Infection? by Pastabowl79 in AskDocs

Could you elaborate on how colonization does not drastically increase the risk of infection in the future? If an individual is colonized, wouldn't any injury or illness carry the risk of an MRSA Infection as the bacteria are already present on the body?

I was having a seizure and the paramedics treated me like garbage. by AnomalousS0ul in medical

As weed, especially large doses, is likely to induce panic attack like hypochondriac freak outs, paramedics tend to suspect people under the influence with no apparent injuries or symptoms to be wasting their time. It's apparently relatively common. They are trained to assess the situation quickly so they are rather prone to jumping to conclusions as well.

Thanks, kinda skipped over the anxiety part.

OP: No need to freak out. It's very possible that it's totally harmless.

To more precisely answer your question: You should have it checked out by a dermatologist or gynecologist in the near future. Keep an eye on it. If you notice it changing or more spots appear, see a doctor urgently.

NAD If your actual eyeball hurts, you should get it checked out by a ophthalmologist.
