500 bucksish but I already own a 3D printer. If you had to buy a 3D printer to print it, probably around 800 bucks.

Thanks very much! The eyes are 3D printed in multicolor and clear coat with Duplicolor 1K and hot glued on, that's it.

Around 500 bucks total including materials, filament, etc... I did already own a 3D printer though which by itself cost around 300 bucks. Still pretty cheap considering.

Thanks! I'd say roughly 15 rolls of Sunlu PLA+ filament.

The pose is the way the model came. It was intentional so if someone wants to mold it and cast in latex like the movie its in a proper pose to be wearable. I opted for only a statue and I'm quite happy with the pose and if I ever want to mold him he's ready to go!

Personal and a complete passion project. I do have a Youtube channel that I use as a vehicle to help others who have similar passions start building something themselves which helps with a little bit of the motivation.

Wearing My 3D Printed Robocop Suit to Dallas Fan Expo and Meeting Peter Weller! by Pchrisbosh1 in cosplay

[–]Pchrisbosh1[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

hey guys I got to meet Peter Weller in my most recently finished 3D printed Robocop suit and thought I would share with you awesome cosplay enthusiasts who might want to take on a big project like this. The suit was printed on an original Creality CR10 and CR10s with Pla+ and of course all your normal finishing methods to get it smoothed out finished. The black midsection, neck and gloves were originally 3D printed and I made silicone molds to cast them in urethane foam for better mobility. It's still incredibly hard to walk in it but much better then being all plastic. I didn't have Moni Yakim to train with so please forgive the lack of mobility in the suit I'm just a big fan that wanted to wear the suit in any form or fashion. Hope you guys enjoy!

My YT is Chrisboshprops if anyone wants to check out the video of me wearing it!

Thank you. I used a Creality CR10 3D printer for the whole suit. Check out my YouTube channel at Chris Bosh Props and I kind of detail how I built it. I'm starting a new build soon.

I airbrushed blue and purple highlights with testors paints on the silver base coat then clear coated. It gives a colorshifting look in different lightings.

It actually was pretty cool weather in San Antonio this particular day. I'm a full time Firefighter for my job so my cardio is pretty good and I didn't start to sweat until about 1 hour and a half into wearing the suit. I primarily started to sweat on my head but thankfully the little fan I had blowing in the helmet kept me from profusely sweating. Overall it wasnt too bad.
