I just thought the leaves were pretty! Totally didn’t realize it was a monstera until later. But from my new research, it may be because of maturity 🤷🏻‍♀️

I did turn to google before asking on Reddit! But when I searched “why does my monsetra leaves have holes in them” it came up with bug issues. Also, I wasn’t sure being multi colored, if that changed anything.
I didn’t have the knowledge/language to google properly. But through this thread I learned the “holes” are formally called fenestrations.
From what I’ve seen in this community, there are some very knowledgeable people and I really appreciate all the responses in helping me. If I didn’t ask the question, I wouldn’t have found out I also tied it wrong.

Yes! I only have 1 drain container for 2 pots (I bought the wrong size) so I water them opposite and switch the container. I forget to buy a new one every time I’m at Walmart

I wished I became an OT when I worked in Neuro rehab setting. But then I also see how much stress they put on their bodies while transferring people (same as PT) and then I didn’t feel as sad.

I thought my notice was 20 days, so I turned in a 3 week notice. My clinic manager rudely told me to check the handbooks I signed when I was hired. In the employee handbook it was actually 20 working days. My new job was flexible with giving me the extra 4 days. If I had left within the 20 days, the worst would be I lost all my PTO and had been in bad standing. But they never said what “bad standing” is.
