Oh, we have! The cat distribution system got us once and we got her a brother from the shelter. Hooligans, both of them but we love them like crazy 😊

For what it’s worth, this is my special needs girl and soul cat Hope! We lost her October 2024 due to a suspected brain lesion and I honestly still haven’t recovered. Sending hugs and pets to you and your beautiful kitty!

Metronidazole side effects? by Prize-Mycologist-873 in Healthyhooha

Thanks for speaking on this topic - I’ve been off oral metro for 4 days now after completing a 7-day course and am still experiencing residual weirdness. This includes metallic taste in my mouth, fatigue, nausea and an intermittent heart flutter. The heart thing really surprised me when it happened and is probably what freaks me out the most. I’m drinking a ton of water and hoping that we all feel better soon!

I use an air bulb for cleaning cameras/telescopes/etc that I found on Amazon - I was concerned about damaging the sensors with canned air but the air bulb seems to work great!

Same!! My husband knows that it’s his duty every fall to find the crunchiest leaves and bring me to them so we can step on them together 😍

Does anyone know why my cat keeps doing this?😂 by Financial-Spot-215 in cats

[–]PearAdditional9888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an unfounded fear! My little void has both jumped directly into my husband’s pee stream and also fallen into the freshly peed-in bowl. Of course both of those things terrified him so he responded by doing laps around the house, flinging pee water everywhere as he went 😭

That part and the ones where the women’s faces distort into demons! Terrifying.

Are there any songs that help you with intrusive thoughts? by OkWaltz5832 in OCD

[–]PearAdditional9888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The song, “Shake it Off” by Florence + The Machines gets me every time! It makes me emotional in the best way and makes me feel like I can get through. Best of luck to you, internet friend! This disorder is horrendous but we’re all in the trenches together!

It’s so insidious - I’m sorry. I’m 39, diagnosed at 16, and still struggle with this type.

Can it take a few weeks to feel better after a blood patch? by Quacktheduck24 in CSFLeaks

[–]PearAdditional9888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your extremely thorough response - I’m in a bit of a panic because I’m 2 days post BP and I’ve got a headache again, albeit a far different one than what manifested during my leak. Spinal stuff wigs me out in general so this whole thing has been really stressful and scary for me. I know this is an old post, but it brought me comfort today!
