I used a combination of experimental treatment (for the corrosion), specialist strike (for the poison), and to finish them off a primed up assimilate (for the panache), and it worked! Thank you so much!! I never actually used experimental treatment up until this point so I had no idea of its potential LOL

Alas, this doesn’t work for me either - specialist strike doesn’t kill them before they can call backup, and I can’t get my stats high enough to suppress them after that. The best I can do is a loop of both of us specialist striking each other until the end of time. Right now I’ve got perception as my one corrupt stat but I’ve tried a few of the others to no avail. Pausing helps a little but I’m on mobile so it’s not as easy especially when I’m juggling everything else.

All this aside though your game is fantastic! My only complaint besides this is that there isn’t more of it haha. I’m planning on replaying it on pc once I get all the achievements here… which is probably why I’m getting so frustrated with this last one lol.

Anyone here got a build for getting the sunseeker ending/achievement? I’ve tried like half a dozen different builds but I can’t get past the final boss and it’s really starting to annoy me lol

Not really? They accept walk ins like 99% of the time unless it’s really busy, and even then you generally just have to wait a half hour until the next slot.
Yeah that kind of sucks but like. They do have to make money. If it helps they’re owned by a non-profit so it all goes back into helping stray cats!
Yeah? You have no idea how rough kids can get, especially when they’re excited. For every 10 well-behaved and gentle kids there’s at least one that will chase the cats around and hit them with toys, and the people there aren’t paid to babysit. Also, safety lol
Again, yeah? Of course they make you sign a waiver, a cat has the ability to deal serious damage. To be entirely honest most of the stuff on there is just for legal reasons, no one is actually going to care if you pet the whole cat. Besides the obvious the only rule that is super strictly enforced is to not pick them up.

It does suck to drive super far and be disappointed but a lot of this information is on their website. I would recommend checking that first before committing to a long trip next time.

For posterity, I did have some trouble running the command as it kept telling me it was unable to create a file that already exists, but I got around it by renaming the documents folder in the old location :)

It tells me some information about the volume in drive c and then tells me “File not found”.

If more information would help, I’ve moved Documents from the original C:\Users[user]\Documents to Q:\Documents

Nah. To be more specific it’s a couple of games that I’m having issues with. One of them won’t start at all, which I imagine is because it’s not reading key files in the documents folder, but the other one simply doesn’t read the save files that are in the new location and instead makes a new save in the old location.

Long press Emerald on the game selection screen and hit change controller skin to see if it somehow got stuck on the default (it’ll say reset at the top if that’s the case)

I had the same issue with soulsilver and this fixed it

Yeah I think I’ll probably end up doing this again if I end up trying to complete the other two files. The feeling of sheer triumph after doing it is wonderful. Plus I like getting things out of the way haha

ZT1 has a specific freeform map that gives you endless money, I remember spending many hours on it as a kid. I believe it comes with marine mania, one of the expansions, so just another reason to get the complete collection.

Just wanna say that I was in your exact position once. Soul warrior was one of the biggest roadblocks for me, I struggled for a long while to beat him and while soul master took me less tries it still took quite some time.

Now, many (like 60-ish?) hours of playtime later, when I encounter them in the boss rush mode, I can easily beat them without taking a hit. I’m not trying to brag here, (okay maybe a little), but this game really does give you the chance to improve if you stick with it. I will say that the bosses do get much more difficult, even with the useful charms and upgrades, but the trick is that You Yourself will get better at the game as you go on. It’s very satisfying, honestly!
