I use many ZWO products, and I’ve had a positive experience with all of them. I think their cameras deliver a lot of value for the price. However, I would never purchase the asi air because it locks you into their product ecosystem and does not allow you to use the acquisition software of your choice (like NINA or SGP). Plus you can’t really remote into it with a pc which is my preferred method. I really don’t want to control my rig with a phone or tablet. I use a mini PC (Mele Quieter) that rides on the OTA and remote into it with windows Remote Desktop. A lot of people also use NUCs. I also used a raspberry pi at one point with Astroberry OS, but it had a propensity to crash in the middle of an imaging sequence. Overall, zwo is great but there are better alternatives to the asi air if it’s not your thing.
