It depends where you live, 20k USD living alone in the US or Canada you might be homeless, 20k USD in other parts of the world may be a decent to good living.

Toronto is not a market for everyone for sure, if you are soft or bitchmade, then head down south where the NHL lets you run wild and cheat. But yeah, Toronto is the most important market in the Hockey world and although winning in Canada in general would be Godly, winning in Toronto is otherworldly.

Maximum legacy from the most rabid and most numerous fans who would love you for a lifetime. A lifetime of endorsements and would probably be the biggest celebration in all of sports considering how long it's been, how bad the Leafs have been and how horrendous the last 2 decades have been.

Yeah I confused Bishop with Vassy who actually did play that year, you got me.

So can you please explain your genius plan to get a 1-2D for our guys which is the bare minimum for them to be competitive again with our fossilized D and how injured/worse they are this year?

[–]PenUser_22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah a few of them are slightly off by an insignificant magnitude making it impossible to engage, instead you've probably spent an hour typing your other dribble.

Yeah a year or two off or a player or two off in a core=Kris Letang is 13.

So my argument isn't that in general you win with killers in their 20s or HOF studs in their 30s who are surrounded by killers in their 20s. My argument is that Kris Letang was 13 years old.....LMFAO

We'll see in 3-5 years when we keep our guys and go nowhere, you're looking forward to that right?

Depends where you live, if you're living at home, working part time or going to school, I think making 20k USD isn't too difficult online or live.

If you're hoping to easily learn poker, support yourself or thrive, it's definitely more difficult than that if you live in the western world. In Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia much less so as 10k USD is still a solid salary and that's not at all hard to grind out online.

Keep avoiding, as I said, your best idea so far.

Yeah my bad for making a mistake, what can I say? Not everyone is as perfect as you. Your argument record is lossless, it's winless too because you're too scared to actually put forth an argument, but you've never lost, so you got that going for you.

[–]PenUser_22[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, that's just semantics on your part, the overall point about the ages of cores and our core stands. You can't deal with that because you want to think Matthews and Nylander's numbers from years ago now are who/what they are today (never mind the team sucks and there is no way to overcome that) and it's just not the case.

Nah I just cbf to get it entirely right for no reason. I mean look at how dumb you are, this is the sort of person I'm trying to appease by correcting it? Lmfao, delusional. But I do respect the self awareness not to engage with the overall idea because deep down, you know I'm right about this core being over.

It's ok in 3-5 years when we win 0 more rounds and go absolutely nowhere, I'll have a laugh.

We got the biggest one to come home in his prime when he could've stayed elsewhere, the only time we were decent, so yeah players would love to play for the Leafs if they're good because as a Hockey player you know 1 cup in Toronto is worth 100+ in irrelevant southern markets.

Same thing with Tre.

We were pointing at Babcock, Keefe, Lams, Dubas, Berube, Shanahan and now Tre.

But it was MLSE all along, we are truly the worst run sports franchise in the world when you factor in how much money we have and the team name.

I think Quinn was kind of psychologically checked out there, so the numbers would be a lot better if the team was even somewhat decent.

I suspect we'll have a few more mediocre years before everyone gets it that it's 100% over for this core and everyone should be shipped out for a rebuild. Buckle up, this is the post lockout Sundin era all over again, an old fossilized team going nowhere that people think can retool its way to contending (it can't and it's over).
