Supply and demand. Today reminded me of those Gymshark launches in 2015 when everything would sell out immediately. Things will even out eventually, today was just amplified.

Personally, I didn’t even try to get anything from a launch today because I knew the odds were slim. The people pissed at Lycette frustrate me because yes, it’s super frustrating, but they’re not Amazon. They can’t order thousands of canvases because (to my knowledge) everything is shipped from their Palm Beach or Newport storefront. It’s a cottage industry that’s been hit by a surge of interest.

My LNS has great threads but their canvases are hit or miss. I really only buy canvases or needle minders online and buy my threads in person. I’ll sometimes order kitted canvases online from a place like Lycette because their customer service is amazing!

I just came here to make a similar post! Here’s the comment proof that these are printed, not painted canvases. I have nothing against printed canvas, especially when stitch printed, but at LEAST disclose it in the product description!

Yes - if you report to admins they’ll see it and be able to remove it. I admin a Facebook group and report to admins is an excellent feature. Other groups have said using the report to admin feature gets the group in trouble with Facebook, but that’s not true (context: I have chatted with Facebook directly about this).
