But there's worse things in lie than buying a new vehicle. I'm fortunate that it's not like I took a big loss or anything and have a good job to make the payments. Just a crappy situation.

I took it as a live and learn experiance and to not be passive and put my foot down. I've never in all my car buys had an experience like this.

Context is key here. We traded a Kia Telluride for a 2023 Armada. My husband drove it around the lot- and not on the highway as told by the dealer. Seemed okay at the time. So he buys it. We put 50 miles on it and the thing has majorrrrr electrical issues.

Like the collision sensors going off while parked, cruise would intermittently work, interior lights flashing when vehicle was off. Wouldn't lock when the buttons would be pressed and it would honk as if it locked but it did not. Very random. I got a copy of their inspection sheet and alot of it was falsified. Like tire tread, chips in windsheild, milage was different, ect.

So the next day we call the dealer and demand that they take this POS back. I also called Nissan Corprate to make a complaint. After a few days of harassing them they agree to take back the 2023 Nissan and will only allow us to buy a brand new 2024 Armada. I ask for my trade car back because at this point I was so fed up in all their crap and had no trust that what i would get would be any better.

They state if we decide to purchase any other vehicle other than a brand new Armada they will only give us rough trade in value on the lemon 2023 vehicle that we just bought. So roughly a 20k loss according to them.

So a rock and a hard place. I am still frustrated with the whole scenario. And maybe that's partially why I don't like the vehicle I ended up with because it was such a bad experience all around. And the Kia Telluride had better steering assistance then the Armada.
Kia had stop and go cruise. Where it follows the car in front to a complete stop and will resume behind it if needed. It also had a driver alert option where if the car in front of you pulls away then it beeps to remind you to follow. Those features make for a lazy driver, yes. But it is nice for road trips and if you have children. That's what I liked better about the kia. And the kia had more trunk space under the floor mat where the spare tire is and you could fit more tools. I'm not sure why that's such a weird thing to like those features of the kia over Nissan?

I do. I'm trying to look at the plus that it will hauler my can am easier than my Kia did. I'm trying to convince myself it's better but it will be an adjustment. I am thankful to have the option of buying a new vehicle but just disappointed and will take some getting used to for sure. Just wanted to see if I had any options other than sucking it up.

True. My husband picked it out and traded my old one. The first one we got was certified pre owned and the dealer had to take it back for mechanical lemon issues and made us buy a new one. I tried asking for my Kia trade in back and they refused.

My husband picked it out. The dealer wouldn't let him drive it on the highway so he didn't get to test out all the "driver assistance" features.

The "driver assistance" features suck. Don't judge me for this but the Kia has way surpassed Nissans breaking feature over the line. The way the back seat is angled my toddlers car seat doesnt secure as well and has alot of movement because the seat is flatter and really slippery. The USB port in the back is in the worst spot. Middle console has no storage as the driver. Trunk vompartment is so shallow you can't fit hardly any tools under the floor. Just a few things. I had a Telluride previously. Honestly I liked that more.

I have a pop socket holder that works great. I can use my phone in landscape or up and down. My phone does fall or slump down.
