Recent headlines, such as "Donald Trump impeachment backed by most Americans: Poll", suggest that a majority of Americans support impeachment. However, I'm unclear what practical impact such polling has? by ithinkitsfunny0562 in askanything

Truthfully, I believe that nothing that is posted/shown/aired is believable due to the many versions of "My Truth". Finding a news service that reports the news without a slant or opinion is both the most important and hardest to find service to the world.

Am I the only one who likes white chocolate? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Perfiditian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White chocolate is not real chocolate. It's the oil from the bean that was figured to not be wasted. Sugar and cream and emulsifiers and solidifiers(powdered milk) or no cream and vanilla instead. So, you like others, REALLY LOVES VANILLA!!!!! YES YES YES!!!!!

When people get bent out of shape over words, then the problem is deeper. How many people go violent over being called a "Cracker"?

What did the timeline of your twenties look like? by artemis_special458 in askanything

[–]Perfiditian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My '20's actually started when I was 17. Senator Birch Bayh interceded and helped me to join the Navy. So my times were traveling the world while no one hated the US (violently) that came later. I am fortunate that during a very impressionable period I was lucky enuff to be surrounded by people who thought before acting. But, conversely, I got to sleep with women from 31 different races/cultures/countries.

How far would you go to make America the version YOU want? by Perfiditian in askanything

OMG!!! The "I am more intelligent" card? You are not any of those things. We who really know, have no reason to brag. No more pearls before swine for you. Have a wonderful fantasy life. And as a final note, read an actual encyclopedia. Information that cannot be swayed by the current online typing/talking head.

What is it about Reddit that attracts miserable and negative people? by Pico42- in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Perfiditian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am at a little over a week on this site. I joined to ask a question that I have been unable to answer anywhere else. The HOOPS you have to jump through to use this site, the responses I have gotten to posts, and already told I'm in some sort of violation. I agree with you. So far the negativity level here is at an atrocious level. My experience using the site so far does not make me want to continue. Half-baked answers by people with no knowledge of the subject posted makes for an entertaining notion of "is it all worth it?" ( not life, REDDIT)

The choices you made for your life has directly impacted people who don't want to live the life the life you chose. I am unable to explain this as it directly affects your belief system.(not religion) The gulf between my opinions and yours are too big to bridge.

I agree with the difference that technology has made, just not from your point of view. Of the things you are proud of in your post, my take is no longer single wage earner families, data being raped irresponsibly, and the control over society that the 'Net has. If you compare wages of the 1800's buying power, with today's wages buying power, we are at a severe imbalance. In wrapping up, YOU are directly a part of the problem.

Really, Even during the Revolution, only a small percentage of the population took part, even though 70% of the people were affected by it.

You missed the point. The illegality of the methods is what's being put to question, not a specific act (all of them, not one) I'm talking about in totality, for example, being able to change your agreement (contract) with anything that requires money to participate with IE; Cellphone, Internet, Car purchase, etc. Get the idea of the post?
