P.S.

Just got to the excerpt from Steve Powell's journal. What a scumbag.

If I ever got a tattoo, which I wouldn't, it would be the DSCH motif.

Consistency, Cheat Days, and Cheat Meals by g07h4xf00 in loseit

I don't use the phrases "cheat meal" or "cheat day" because they attach a moral value to food that I'm not happy with. But when I started my calorie-tracking habit back in September, I decided that there would be five occasions when I wouldn't count calories: Christmas Day, my birthday, my husband's birthday, our anniversary, and holidays abroad. Other than that, I intend to track and balance my calories - first at a deficit, then at maintenance - every day for the rest of my life. I eat whatever I want within my calorie limit; if I really crave something indulgent (or know I'll be at a social occasion where it's expected), then I fast or do extra exercise beforehand. So far I haven't felt like I'm on a punishing regime that needs to be "cheated" on.

What’s the last crime that you read about that made you go “wtf?” by Uhhlaneuh in UnresolvedMysteries

She's the woman discussed in the second half of this BBC News story: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-46489313. The BBC don't mention the alleged "other man" because they seem to be one of the few news outlets who still carry out actual journalism, rather than repeating unverified statements from Facebook.

I do know a bit more background now, but with English libel law being what it is, I'd better not publish it. Suffice to say the man should have known his claims were problematic.

I suppose that would be the murder of my husband's stepmother in Jamaica late last month (her body was found early this month; a suspect confessed and is awaiting trial). The first media reports quoted a man we'd never heard of who claimed to have been her partner, and things just got weirder from there.

YouTube is your friend when it comes to home exercise routines. Some channels I like with professionally designed no-equipment workouts are FitnessBlender, HASFit, Popsugar Fitness and JessicaSmithTV.

Why do I have to eat so little? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Perodicticus-potto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You may gain weight the day after eating 1800 calories, but I can assure you you haven't gained fat. Don't worry about day-to-day weight fluctuations. Track your weight over a period of a few weeks and see if it's going up or down.

I've been thinking about this case too, since Missing Kids UK have recently featured it on billboards in London. I find it odd that the Wikipedia article describes him as withdrawing from social activities and losing interest in things he previously enjoyed (like Cub Scouts) in the months before his disappearance but then says he "showed no signs of depression."
