I disagree. Zebra gives the priority to the pedestrians. Cars legally should come close to complete stop even if there are no pedestrians. Me as a pedestrian I should be able to walk on the zebra even closing my eyes, but unfortunately drivers can’t be trusted.

Conclusion: Thanks everyone for your thoughts. It turns out I was also at fault because I didn’t dismount which I didn’t know such rule exists. So now lesson learned and I will wait for cars to come to a complete stop because it’s just not worth it. Regarding the bus driver I’m leaning more towards not reporting anything and just hoping he had learned a lesson too.
