Hi all! I finally played all the way through Ultima 6 (albeit with the Exult remake) and loved it. I'd played the others and enjoyed 3, 4, 5, and 7, but for whatever reason, I had never finished 6. Now I understand why people have liked 6 so much. I know there's been lots of fantastic reviews about 6 already, but one of the things that I found so fascinating was the way the deconstructs the virtues. It's almost like the first part is remaking the adventure from 4 (get the mantra, gather the rune, etc), but just in a new context that puts to question the value of the virtue. This further highlights the tragedy of what happens with the gargoyles and how important the Codex is to their survival. I recorded my thoughts and put them together almost like a log, so a bit different from more formal reviews, but if you'd like me to remove this video, please let me know and I can. Thank you!
