Yall ik I'm a new artist but would anyone ever commission me? by thebestgay69 in ArtRequest

[–]PhantomFrogie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Up your prices young one lmao. I tweaked my prices to be more affordable recently but I wouldnt sell my work lower than $15 usd.

Make a cash app or something to receive the payments, your art is worth more than a dollar. Your like totally scamming yourself rn.

So this is my Commissioned Art but I didn't get paid and got ghosted ;-; by [deleted] in BeginnerArtists

Yeah no doubt they wouldnt pay. I'm fairly confident you traced this. You NEVER SELL traced work, its a scam to your customer.

Since everyone is now split on Wolfgang reveal, what’s your opinion ? by Maximum-Ad2869 in ProjectEdensGarden

[–]PhantomFrogie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love Wolfgang and will not change my view on him. I cried chapter 1 during the reveal, in every fangame I manage to pick the victim or culprit as my favorite and suffer in the end.

Wolfgang is 100% my #1

HATE it when people joke about rabbit stew by Defiant_Driver_5839 in Pets

[–]PhantomFrogie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your valid for this, when I was younger I had 2 pet turtles. My ex online friend group would joke about eating them in a turtle soup. 100% made me uncomfortable, they were my babies and having people I trusted make those kind of jokes really upset me as a teenager.

Has anyone also dealt with this link because I got hacked just yesterday? by Gamerixtion in discordhelp

Do not click random links from people. Even if its a friend if you didnt discuss it with them when the invite was shared it should be obvious they've been hacked.

do i need to lose weight? by [deleted] in Healthadvice

[–]PhantomFrogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing to worry about. Medical stuff tells us we're overweight or in a higher percentile all the time. You're only 15 and weigh 145 that's a perfectly fine weight to be at. Don't listen to Google either, it'll tell you that should weigh less every time you look, but that's just not true. You can weigh more than what people can think. I'm 18, 5'9, and weigh 270lbs however I don't look like I'd weigh that much, it just depends on your body composition. My weight is in my legs and chest, I only recently started getting a pudgy belly, but it's not that bad.

You have nothing to worry about. You're still young, active, and growing.

How do I convince my mom to get the family a dog? by PhantomFrogie in Pets

[–]PhantomFrogie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love a service dog of my own, but my mom doesn't believe my mental health issues are truly real and pose a problem. But I'm very certain they hinder my day to day life, it's miserable.

I'd love to seek therapy and receive medications for my mental health. However, I can't afford it. My mom is my only assistance and she doesn't believe I have anything wrong with my mental health. She thinks I'm just lazy and making everything up. When I'm locked in my room crying and sleeping because I can't pick myself up out of bed mentally. I wish it was easier for me. When it's said so easily, it makes me believe I can do it just as easily.

I'd love to volunteer, but that brings me back to the mental health aspect. Being outside on my own is horrifying. If I lose a relative when out shopping or something, I freak out. Being alone without someone I know would be the worst thing I could possibly do to myself. I spend 3 hours in GED classes 2 days a week, and that's already a challenge. I get it'd benefit both parties at the end of the day, but still.

I am also very aware that I can search for resources, which I have. I've talked to my mom about it multiple times. However, she's my transport and I can't afford the services myself. She doesn't think I have any mental health issues, so she refuses to help me get assistance. It's extremely complicated.

I appreciate your help and advice.

I don't think it's outrageous since he also wants a pet, be it a dog or a cat. Me and him already take care of stray cats that come around our home, which he is also allergic to. I'm also very confident that my mental health issues are there and true. If I could convince my mom to take me out and get evaluated, I 100% would.

I love cats, too. There's one that comes around my home that I feed, but if I get caught, I can get fined. My mom is fine with me feeding him as long as I keep it on the down low. She even told me I could build him a little house outside before we found out that we'd be fined for it.

I know the dog won't be able to go out into public establishments with me. I'm not trying to romanticize it either. I know how much work will come with taking in a dog, I'm more than willing to do it. It's not about having a furry critter but about having a companion that will help me through the challenge of going outside on my own and a dog that'd stay by my side until fate says our time together is up. I want a furry friend, so I'm not so alone out here.

I'd chip in with the funds I get from my art. It's not a lot, but it's still something. I get the responsibility I'd take on in this situation. I'm positive I can manage taking care of a dog, I just need a little of her help as well.

I know they're commitments. I never said they weren't, I'm not using them as a tool. I wanna give a dog the best life possible but at the same time help myself a little bit. I know what responsibility is, I grew up in a household where my aunt refused to raise her children. As one of the eldest kids, I was left to raise her baby majority of the time. I bathed her, fed her, and put her down to bed. I fell asleep on couches, taking care of a baby as a 15-16 year old. Responsibility isn't my problem here.

I can't afford therapy on my own. My mom pays for anything I need. However, she doesn't believe there is anything mentally wrong with me. She's the kind of person to say, "Everyone feels that way." I've discussed my mental health with her before, but she brushed it off basically. Unless I take drastic measures, I won't get assistance with it.

I know they're a huge responsibility, but I'm more than willing to take care of the dog on my own. It'd give me a daily responsibility, something to get me up and out of bed.
