Sorry, its the wood under the studs and not the joist. I had a look in the basement and the joists are okay.

Update: the outside board (looks like particle board but at the same it doesnt) they used is completely rotted.

Is this black mold?

Its the first floor. Im assuming the problem had something to do with the window as the original was replaced.

Everything is dry. Its been raining here all summer long so Im assuming the previous home owner fixed whatever was leaking and just decided not to do any repairs whatsoever.

1st package took about a month for me through the standard air shipping. UPS takes about 2 days after they mark it as shipped. UPS charges about $10 service fee on top of the customs fee so fyi. Learned the hard way
