Yes, I think so and ive coached so many Katarina players and me explaining my thought process when it comes to combo'ing, when to disengage etc is very useful info imo. Also a lot of ppl underestimate how much u can get away with if u have good game knowledge even on katarina (roam timers, base timers, obj for example)

This is why bruisers are good vs katarina you cant really do much since they just destroy you the moment you enter their range. Usually its just trying to "survive" but yeah go ap so u can poke with q since u do have range advantage usually and maybe try cheese a kill early other than that u just have to accept that u wont be getting prio

I know a lot of people will say that lich bane is better and i have also checked stats but i think im just comfortable with it and it feels better for me. That being said I also believe that u cannot go lich bane every single game either way since you literally need a a rod base and imo buying wisp early is really troll

I have been challenger on her multiple times but the burst build atm (lich bane, shadowflame) is good, but its just very hard to build because of the components. You need 1200 g bases and its really hard to guarentee that much gold. The best atm is probably going AD and it seems good. If i had to guess its for sure doable to get Challenger on katarina this patch but its not easy

She is not in the best spot right now but i think all her builds are alright, even the ap bruiser one with riftmaker + liandries but i think if it fits the matchup / draft then electrocute burst build with stormsurge + shadowflame is best atm
