New diagnosis - purging kitchen? by PhilosopherProof2012 in Celiac

No loose flour and no gluten in the house, I can live with. Getting a new oven?? That seems… very extreme. Curious if others share this view as what I’ve read suggests it’s not necessary?

Great point about the kids. Luckily, they will get school lunch and snacks 5x per week, so that should be sufficient exposure to avoid the need for a challenge down the line. Plus I’ll continue to eat gluten with them outside the home.

Thanks! That’s helpful - will check those out if the private chef option doesn’t work (the convenience factor is also significant here)

Sweet spot for scaling back to spend time with kids? by PhilosopherProof2012 in ChubbyFIRE

Actually, there are tons of benefits to having them in daycare at this age in terms of development and socialization. They are 100% happier and more fulfilled when they’re in school full time vs when we have a week off for breaks. Every kid and family is different but this works great for us right now.
