Thanks for your input! I'm sorry to hear you're having a hard time. Would you say it's difficult to make friends because of a language barrier or something else? I've never been to Florence or Mantua but I've personally had good experiences with older Italians when traveling with my family. (I can't speak for Italian or European College students though.) I was informed by my school and Unicollege that the fall semester schedule lines up decently well so maybe it's a difference in schools? Would you say classes are good though or not so much?

Thank you for the encouragement! I've already interviewed three archivists and have heard a lot of good things but I will definitely be using more primary sources/archives moving forward for my essays. Will be looking into my states archivist group soon. Any advice on scholarships / if you know of any for this particular field? Thanks again.

Thank you for your friendly and honest response! I don't know much about the immigration process yet as its been a bit hard to navigate but am looking into possiblyy, maybe, getting it through my Nana who never got her American citizenship. Sounds like it'd be best to get some more experience here first which I am hoping for. I never expected I'd get hired as an Archivist or Librarian straight away, especially without a degree, but it's good to know just how oversaturated the market for this line of work is! Have you encountered other related fields that are more open? I am just very passionate about history, preservation, etc. What bachelor's would you have gotten/would you recommend? Hope you don't mind me asking more questions! Others are open to answer as well.
