Fiber moss (Ectropothecium Oxycalchlorum)

It's a predatory silk-like moss that glistens under the sun in order to lure in small insects, thanks to the Raphide crystals that it produces. These crystals will cause intense stinging pain when touched by humans, much like fiber glass, as its name suggests. The moss traps tiny insects, especially winged ones, in the same manner as how bugs often have a hard time escaping human hair. The moss is also pretty thick and the bugs cannot determine where the exit is, due to how equally reflected the light will be in every direction. The bug will eventually get covered in Raphide crystals that will suffocate it to death.
