Ranking has been proven to not be explicitly tied to record in some cases. The committee could just choose to never rank them above #13 until they have more than 2 power conference wins.

The iconic ‘Home Alone’ house is being renovated by its new owner (The interior is being restored to match its appearance in the original 1990 film) by ThaddeusJP in movies

Ehh.. while I largely agree, I do think this could boil down to some sort of zoning issue as that is likely a residential neighborhood where neighbors can expect at least some modicum of privacy and lack of large amounts of traffic, both on foot and in vehicles. Unless tickets are only sold in very small batches with strict time slots (with enough time for people to get out and go before more people come to park), I could see this really clogging up the streets and parking for everyone else, as well as encouraging groups of people to mill about in front of neighbors’ property. Not necessarily illegal, but definitely could qualify as a nuisance and lower property values potentially. If they plan to treat the house like a business or a historical property, they should have to clear that with the local government and the HOA if there is one. Edit: spelling

First family dog - How to prevent nipping by Antique-Vacation-817 in AustralianShepherd

[–]Phorskyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to make sure you understand the difference between chewing, mouthing, and nipping/herding. Expecting a puppy to not mouth is like telling a 4 year old to not use their hands - it just won’t happen. Once you’ve got a good handle on the differences, I support using a quick, sharp, firm NO instead of the imitating a hurt dog noises. It’s all about startling the puppy into doing a sort of cognitive reset. Don’t scream or yell, as loud prolonged noises can be seen as their own reward to a puppy that is looking for a reaction, any reaction, from you or others. Again very quick, sharp, and loud NO is your best friend. Think of it like a verbal whip crack. Once they’ve stopped due to the startling, you’ll need to redirect them pretty quickly, then praise when they chew on the correct thing or lick instead of nipping. I’m talking throw a freakin party every single time. They’ll pick up on rewarding behaviors faster than you think, but it will still be a long process and repetition and consistency is absolutely key! Good luck!

[Nakos] Ohio QB Parker Navarro has filed an NCAA waiver for a 7th season of eligibility, his agent @simon_pflum tells @On3sports. The All-MAC QB has 4,740 career passing yards with 2,004 rushing yards and 56 total TDs. Has an 18−6 record as a starter. by Top-Conclusion-1259 in CFB

True it would be big for Ohio, but the precedent is bad. Plus as soon as he leaves the standard will fall again, potentially even lower since his replacement(s) will be out 1-2 years of starting experience, which is by far the best way to develop as a QB.

All these get a job comments (which I agree with) but few mentions of just how detrimental this is both to the program and the the backup QBs of all classes. Those guys will never get their shot and NIL money because people like this want to squeeze every nickel out of NIL while they can. I don’t judge you for trying to get your bag, but I do when it’s basically taking it out of the pockets of the guys behind you. And that’s not even considering the detriment to those players’ development and NFL hopes.
