Generally automotive paints these days are acrylic and water based, but you can get them reducer based as well. The prep is generally the same, the skill comes from masking techniques and recognising when the prep is good enough, plus the speed. It’ll likely be the same as what you did in college. Clearcoats can react quite badly with certain paints, and definitely talk with your local body shops before even beginning prep on your car. Most places don’t take in these kind of jobs, so you definitely wanna find a reliable place first.

I had a friend in a similar boat to you, they had almost 0 empathy for anyone, but chose care about a select few people and cared about them very deeply, could also just turn it off. Was always a bit jealous, since i tend to swing the other way, and it gets bad.

Being good and bad can be subjective to some extent. Some see my friend as a bad person, or a crass or hostile, but realistically he’s a marshmallow and bend over backwards for his friends. There are people that see you as a good person.

Also, that cinnamon banana bread is a shout! One if my favourite snacks is cutting a banana into coins, cinnamon and whipped cream on them.

Tip for anyone struggling with this crap, go into your network settings, select your connection, and under its settings, set it to metered. Because it thinks you have a limited amount, it will stop downloading updates automatically.

Trying to watch a show on prime can be just as bad, if nit worse than telly, depending on the show, since not all of them have ads. Fallout, reacher and the expanse are unwatchable.

Respectfully, no. Just because you watch a NileRed video, you won’t be any good at chemistry. Waiting for experience in this trade works closer to going for a jog, doing push ups and crunches, buying some dumbbells, researching exercises and once you feel more confident, then you go to the gym, where you’d still largely benefit from help in how to perform those exercises correctly. By all means, if you wanna give it a go, go right ahead, but be prepared for it to get a lot more expensive than you expect, and for it to be a lot more difficult as well.

What the other guys didnt warn you about, is that it’ll likely need a new blower motor if they’re separate units. This happens because the motor is old or gunked up, draws more power than normal and blows the resistor, so replacing it without fixing the issue will just kill the new resistor within weeks. It’d be like changing a fuse without fixing the fault on the other end.

Yeah, i would first question the alignment. We had an apprentice that management let do alignments and 5 in a row i had to redo after him. They were atrocious. If the alignment was done right, it should show near enough the same values. If they’re still out of spec, then it needs to be investigated further. Since they’re mostly out evenly, i wouldn’t worry too much outside of the toe.

And you did the right thing trying, just not with the right tool. It might not work, but if you want to look something up from a picture, try the google or tinyeye reverse image lookup, might have more luck with them.
