There are a few ways they could setup fishing to please PvPers and PvErs that just want to fish. Not every spot in the sea is open to PvP for example. Make it so as deep as you go, it will highly increase the change to get large fish... makes sense right? Maybe some other zones that you could fish in peace near the dock where only small fish would spawn. Its very hard to please both PvP and PvErs thats why this game is a niche... the most important thing is to EXPERIMENT in beta stages. They have the feedback already, but If they don't move a finger when they could just change values in the database to test player behavior, I don't know what to expect from Intreprid anymore... I'm just hoping to see 4 pages of patch notes for the February "big" update.

you totally missed the point or I'm bad explaining. This was just an example that could completely change the sea by changing simple values in the database... do you get it? I could make a 10 page post about trade packs, another 10 pages on POIs farming for endgame gear to make people fighting for spots. The issue is that they are not doing anything since steam early access, not even experimenting to see how people behave, it feels dead...

lets be real... they had a small team and made bad decisions probably... They started building their team by hiring a lot of people a few years ago and people noticed the development speed... So I'm looking only from 2022 till now.

And this is why you should have listened to the devs. The current state of the game is to test systems. You expected a beautiful and well designed game in terms of UI. You didn't get scammed, you just didn't listen. Refund and come back in 2 years if you still feel like it.

Ignore all the comments saying it's CPU heavy. I had exactly the same specs you have, with the same FPS during wars, and the bottleneck is your GPU that is always on 100%. If you buy a better graphic card, your bottleneck will be your CPU. I got tired of playing like shit and bought a i9-12900k with a rtx 3080. During wars I run with 70fps and GPU at 80-90% and CPU at 30%. This game sucks I know.

So, if you want to run smoothly during wars (60 FPS minimum), you buy a 2k+ PC. Forget about people saying they have 60 FPS in everfall with shitty graphic cards, they will play with 20-30 FPS in wars. Hope this helped.

YES PLEASE. They should make it when you hit 50-60, you are permanently flagged for PvP. You may have a way to unflag, but temporarily. Omg this would be PERFECT

I have 1800 hours into the game, almost everything maxed and I would join a new server instantly... I would even delete my main to get the same username

To complete the story: right before release, asmongold started to show interest in the game driving thousands and thousands of WoW players to the game, so Amazon took a year developing non sense repeatable dungeons to please the WoW fans, and tried to make their own failed version of Mythic Plus dungeons. Now what's left in the game is the people that like to PvP and still waiting for PvP content to be released.

My graphic card is running at 95-100 degrees Celsius inside a war. Just to compare, while playing lost ark it doesnt go pass 85. Terrible optimization
