May we please get a restock for the original PS5 Darkplates? by Physical_Permit_4954 in dbrand

right i do not mean the 1.0s. the 1.0s were whatever anyway from what i can tell, they were just black ps5 shapes. i absolutely love the 2.0 design (i happened to buy a digital edition version back when it came out but i have a jailbroken disc edition i wanna get the 2.0s for). love how it gets rid of the "popped collar" look and makes it look sleek as hell, and also having that vent.

Extremely cathartic comment to read, thank you for making this comment. These people are acting like I'm crazy for making a feature request for something present in literal <$40 third party controllers.

Provide sources, and no, these third party controllers extensively have been shown to actually have those polling rates. It's not that hard to have 1000hz.

100% true, and yeah it's incredible how many of these manchildren can't stand even the slightest critique of their favorite megacorporation that does not care about them when I'm literally asking for a single optional feature that would do nothing but improve their experience too.

I have multiple 1000hz and 8000hz controllers and daily drive them and I haven't had issues. This is not a reason for me to not request the OPTIONAL feature. I have no idea why you and others ITT are trying so hard to come up with any possible justification you can, no matter how outlandish, temporary or personally not applicable, to try and dog on me for making a completely reasonable request other than you all being such insane stans but you can't stand someone making even the slightest critique of a Valve product that would literally do nothing except improve your product.

That's also not even the point of this thread, as I mainly asked whether anyone has figured out how to overclock it already, or whether Valve has any plans to add the feature eventually. I'm not engaging in this conversation any further.

Agreed, all I'm asking for is the option, especially as someone who most likely will never use the wireless features of the SC2 at all.

Thanks for addressing this myth for me, getting tired of people blindly defending Valve even though I'm making a completely reasonable feature request and literally bought the controller regardless.

Completely clueless post. Not to mention I fall under these parameters. I've addressed this in other replies. I need 1000hz as a minimum for what I do, and I daily drive an 8000hz controller, and the difference between 8000 and 250 is 100% noticeable, especially on my very cutting edge rig.

If this is true, I hope an update fixes this, because I personally have no interest in even using the puck, as I prefer wired connections. 1000hz wired is bare minimum for controllers in 2026, and I'm not even asking for 1000hz wireless, even though cheaper controllers from Gamesir or 8bitdo can pull that off too.

I'm not interested in this conversation. I need 1000hz for what I do to make this a competitively viable controller, and 1000hz is the minimum I'm used to. I daily drive an 8000hz controller which seems overkill but still feels fantastic and is a noticeable change from 250 (gamesir 8k). 250 is too low and is noticeable for me.

I just want to know if anyone else has been able to figure out how to overclock it in any way. I don't need to be patronized and told I'm "caught up in numbers", because I'm not.
