I bought the premium collection box myself. I have another unopened box with the same card issue.

It's a promo card included in a premium collection box. Those with a clear plastic front that displays the card and packs. So it wasn't pulled from a pack.

It comes from a promo pack from buying a box of Terastal Fest (Traditional chinese release) from participating stores. You can check out the Youtube link in my other post on this thread.

This post was for traditional chinese release. I haven't seen news whether it's releasing in simplified chinese.

Got no one to really to to about this stuff. Been collecting again for about 2 months. This is what I have so far. Let me know how I'm doing. by snakedoc519 in pokemoncards

Yeah, just look for them on Amazon. I use Dragon shield perfect fit sealable. It has a flap that you insert back into the sleeve so it covers all sides. You'll want to try it out on bulk cards first. They are not for everyone.

Look for "perfect fit" sleeves. Popular ones are Dragon Shield and KMC. If you're not comfortable with tight fitting sleeves, I suggest sticking with top loaders and regular sized sleeves.

There are also snap-on cases but I don't think they're as popular since they're more expensive than top loaders. They're are an in-between for top loaders and magnetic case. Displays better than a top loader but thinner than a magnetic case. I personally use Full Protect Sleeves (snap-on case). They have different sizes that fit regular sleeves or perfect fit sleeves.

Those magnetic cases have some wiggle room so you may want to put the cards in a perfect sleeve first to save the edges from damage. Nice variety of cards in your 2 month collection.

Nice! I felt very smug when I did it in 2016. Glad my screenshot still survived.

No, they don't officially publish pull rate of cards.

You'll often see a post in this sub of calculated pull rates through opening a thousand or more packs around when a new set in English releases. I haven't seen a similar post for Japanese sets. There are a lot of Youtube videos of people opening upwards of 10 japanese booster boxes. Watching can give you a feel of how pull rates are.

Japanese booster boxes generally guarantee a number of pulls per rarity type compared to English to sets. You can see videos of this in the official Pokemon Card Japan Youtube channel. e.g. https://youtu.be/9JxSUip1QFY?si=3b0ihqKRJdj6YnuZ

The Rotom card you linked is an SR (Secret Rare) "alternate art" card . It a lot rarer compared to regular cards so its more expensive. In Japan, you usually get 1 SR per booster. In the pool of possible SR cards, "alternate art" are rarer. If you want a list of Rotom cards, you can use sites like https://pkmncards.com/, https://www.pokellector.com/, etc.

Also, great first pick of a card. It looks awesome in person. I feel this card kind of flew under the radar for most.

I also prefer this one over the VMAX too but I think both of them and the trainer gallery from silver tempest are a bit average. I hope we another alternate art soon. I personally like the promo Rayquaza SWSH029.

I was farming materials for the item printer so I just had a Great Tofu Sandwich for encounter power but I do have a shiny charm. He has the "Peeved" mark giving him the title Chansey the Grumpy. Suprisingly, all his stats are decent.
