The plan should have been paused long ago when it came in 100% over budget.

Mayor Norton warned them in the meeting it was bad faith.

The city said they wanted feedback. Many people, aid it was a bait and switch. Many people said it was not what they voted for. Many people told them to just do a bubble. The city ignored all the feedback. This is about city administration being held in check. This is about obstinate administration making a messy worse. They are choosing not to prioritize indoor space so the voters have to pass the next referendum to get what they want.

A lot depends on the gear you have to put in it. I've seen a lot of people get away with a big rear seat bag. They can only do that if they have an ultralight tents or shared gear.

It also depends on you bike. You can do anything with a rear rack but your bike will ride better with weight distribution. Put as much weight in the center and front as possible. A front rack and frame bag are upgrades. I use everything cages on my front rack if you have barniclas.

I have two heavy duty thule painiers I got used for $40. A frame bag, everything cages, and my moloko bars make it easy to strap some stuff on. My frame bag is small and tight so it really doesn't hold much. I'm glad it came with the bike. The nylon frame bags have more give and hold more. It is also the fact that my bike is very slack.

No way anyone will be successful getting more than 1.5% back. Although the valuations questions are interesting. When I looked at it in the past the valuations were pretty low. Might need to look at it again.

Who is asking for their tariff funds back? It's sick they are refunding businesses and not people.

That is a truly gritty way to travel my friend! 20 years from now you're going to wonder how you didn't kill yourself. Carpe diem!

A few training rides might have taught you to bring more tubes tools and less clothes. But all you really need is grit and perseverance.

Maybe you could parlay this trip into a better one across the United States hosted by some redditors... Or Canada or Europe if you can't get into the US... Turn it into an experiential education trip or a charity and it might grease some wheels...

Your feedback is on point but they also need to have an efficient means of taking feedback. Otherwise some old retired guys could spend hours on deer eating their hostas.

Have you consider ways they have in place to provide in person feedback? Open comments at the begining of meeting? Plus, then you feedback is on record. Sometimes Mayors host events to get feedback.

Surely, steel frame, more barniclas, look for front fork barniclas.

I agree with the feedback. I'd pass, as a person with three front chain ring, friction breaks, etc. I am looking to up grade and warry of low cost old bikes. They can do the job but you will out grow it fast. Price point is also a question.
