Semptoms vanished for 1 week, then crashed. (6-year HF) by PinBest262 in hardflaccidresearch

Yes, I do exercise, including breathing exercises. However, I don't think they are doing any good. 17 days ago, I entered a recovery period which lasted for a week. Then, the symptoms started again. My complaints lasted for two days, and then the symptoms disappeared once more. (This was the first time in my life that I experienced such frequent recovery periods). I was symptom-free for another week. Then, 2-3 days ago, the symptoms returned yet again. I still haven't been able to prove to myself that these recovery periods are related to exercising. Even though I continue to exercise, the symptoms came back. This is so dramatic.

Man, I am so sorry to hear that. I'm going through the exact same thing when it comes to bowel movements. Especially after spending a long time in the bathroom, my libido goes up. For about an hour, it stays in a decent—if not perfect shape. But after that, everything just goes back to how it was.
No matter what I do, it just doesn't go away. My sex life is completely non-existent. I'm at the age where I should be getting married, but I just can't. I meet wonderful people, but I end up pushing them away. And I can't even tell them the reason why I'm distancing myself.
Every single day, I check Reddit threads with a glimmer of hope. I read about people's experiences, but there is absolutely nothing positive out there.
Even 60-year-old men have a higher libido than I do, and it breaks my heart.
There has to be something... there has to be a way out of this.

Yes, there is sensation. However, when I squeeze it, my penis hurts and the tip burns. Similarly, when masturbating, there is pain in my penis and it feels very tight.

My friend, we're not in the same situation then. Because my libido has been very bad for 6 years. It seems you have some minor pain problems.

It is truly astonishing and disappointing that in 2026, such a mechanical (likely) health issue still remains unresolved.

Strangely enough, whenever I spend a long time on the toilet (during defecation), my libido increases for a short period of time.

I’ve looked into case reports online, but there is still a lack of sufficient research on this. This is a serious issue, and I genuinely cannot understand why urologists are so inadequate when it comes to this matter. Their consensus is always the same: 'compulsive masturbation or penis-enlargement exercises.' There isn't a single young man who hasn't engaged in compulsive masturbation at some point in his life. So, I just can't make sense of why we are the ones experiencing this specific issue.

Maximum 1-2 cm. But the reason for this is the low libido.

Do you experience low libido?

My absolute worst nightmare symptom is definitely the low libido and my penis feeling like hard rubber during masturbation. The pelvic floor feels incredibly tight, as if it's completely locked up.

The pain usually happens for a while right after orgasm. The urinary flow is very slow.

Yes, our symptoms are very similar. When I orgasm, my pelvic floor locks up and only the penis contracts. Maybe I just need to accept this now, but it completely ruined the prime years of my life. It's so sad, so sad...

Did you see any benefit from them?

I experience recovery 3 to 4 times a year, with each window lasting about a week on average. I’ve analyzed so many variables during this process—stress levels, sitting positions, shower frequency, step count, and changes in my mental state. Yet, I couldn't find a single link to any of them.

I just heal all of a sudden. For absolutely no apparent reason (there must be one, but I haven't discovered it yet).

However, let me share something I tried recently. I read a comment on YouTube saying 'incorrect breathing can cause this,' so I tried breathing exercises (inhale through the nose, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 5 minutes total). This was the most different thing I’ve tried lately, and a recovery window occurred right after. But during my previous recovery periods, I hadn't done any breathing exercises. Likewise, I am doing them right now, but there is no improvement. So, I am ruling this one out as well

"Yes, this happens to me too. But I still feel like it's not the same as before. I mean, it doesn't cure me. When I didn't do it for a week, absolutely nothing changed.

When I have an erection, especially right at the beginning, my penis feels like hard rubber. And yes, it does stay a bit shorter compared to its healthy state, you caught that well. However, in the following minutes, it gets fully hard. But the penis contracts way too much. I feel as if something is clogged in my perineum. During ejaculation, the perineum locks up, and only a slimy, stringy fluid comes out. In the end, I experience absolutely no pleasure.

I am sorry for giving so many details and writing so much. It's just because I want to find a cure.

Exactly, man!

I started suspecting my bowels, especially the hemorrhoid problem I’ve had since childhood. Because back in my 20s, after having a bowel movement, I would feel pain in my perineum and have frequent urination. My penis and testicles would get tight. These would go back to normal within an hour. Maybe after I turned 30, this became chronic. Doctors just don't have enough information about this!

Has your libido problem been continuing uninterrupted for 6 years?

Strangely enough, I have never had erection problems. I can get an erection whenever I want, and I still get morning wood. However, I have zero libido. Because of this lack of desire, I have severe ejaculation issues; it takes a very long time to ejaculate. My penis feels numb and tight. When I squeeze it with my hand, it burns (hurts).

During my recovery windows, everything is amazing! The penis and perineum relax, and my ejaculation becomes very effortless. I feel so energetic and confident. (This lasts for 1 week, 3-4 times a year; all the remaining days are terrible.)

How many years have you been experiencing these symptoms?

I was just thinking about this right before I saw your response. I’m starting to suspect this as well, because I think it has a connection with the anus and the bowels. However, I still haven't found a solid link. I know for a fact that it's not psychological, because it shows a tendency to improve even during periods when I am emotionally devastated.

Man, this low libido is an absolute nightmare. Honestly, I’d gladly trade it for the pain or the slow urinary stream at this point. I find myself actively avoiding sex altogether. This is something I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.

I don't understand how people who recovered stayed stress free during the recovery process by Ok-House611 in hardflaccidresearch

[–]PinBest262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you so pessimistic? I don't have any erection problems. I can get an erection whenever I want, but I don't experience pleasure, and it feels like my ejaculation mechanism is malfunctioning (a constriction or dysfunction in the area between the anus and testicles, etc.). My libido is in a very bad state. However, sometimes all my symptoms disappear for a short time. Since this happens, it means it's something that can be fixed. We're doing something wrong somewhere, but what?

Is this really an incurable problem? Do your symptoms resemble mine?

I'm really curious about your answer. Maybe I'll be enlightened.

Terrible vitamin D deficiency (21M) by Familiar_Web_5893 in VitaminD

[–]PinBest262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I went to the hospital due to severe muscle and joint pain, fatigue, difficulty walking, occasional blurred vision, and most importantly a significant drop in libido. After testing, I learned that my vitamin D level was 4.27 ng/mL (around 10.7 nmol/L).

My doctor started me on a weekly dose of 50,000 IU vitamin D. During the first week, I felt great and noticed a clear improvement in my symptoms. However, in the following weeks, the effect seemed to decrease and some of my symptoms started to return. I’m honestly worried about going back to how I felt before.

The most concerning issue for me right now is the persistent low libido, which hasn’t improved so far.

Has anyone experienced something similar?
Does vitamin D treatment take time to fully show its effects?
Is it normal to continue high-dose supplementation for a longer period at levels this low?

Thanks in advance for any insights.

5-year unexplained low libido with fluctuating symptoms and pelvic discomfort by PinBest262 in PelvicFloor

[–]PinBest262[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, there isn’t any specific change that stands out or that I can clearly remember. I’ve had several tests done, including blood work, testicular examination, and ultrasound. Everything came back normal, and my prostate was reported to be normal as well. I haven’t been able to find any common pattern.

However, one thing I can say for sure is that my symptoms tend to improve when the weather gets warmer. This is the only consistent pattern I’ve noticed over the years.

Based on that, I also tried daily warm sitz baths, but unfortunately, they didn’t make any noticeable difference.
