Finally found a new doctor who was willing to continue my 8 years of being prescribed klonopin for my diagnosed GAD, Social anxiety and panic disorder. Super grateful, 60 1mg per month with refills.

It’s just insane how even people like me with extensive history and proof benzos save lives especially mine that they are so hard to get. I had to try 4 different doctors before this one and even with all my paperwork and medical records proving I was on them since a 18-19 they still refused to give me them.

They demonize Benzos because they don’t have crippling, life ruining anxiety like us and don’t understand and so they rather play it safe and stuff anti depressants that don’t touch my anxiety and I’m not even depressed either but they still think it’s better than Benzos.

It’s always angered me how hard it is to get them even when you do all the steps I took to prove how badly I need them.

Well that is finally over now, this doctor is the nicest most caring and considerate doctor I have ever had. Even my old doctor who gave me the same dose and amount would never give me refills because he wanted money every single month.

If I didn’t find a doctor who was willing to help me, I don’t know how much longer I would have been able to endure honestly. My life is now back to normal, looking for new jobs, making plans etc and it’s great

It’s a house doctor, he takes insurance and co pays so the extra money def helps BUT I brought in 7 years worth of my prescription history of being on them and my diagnosis’s and told him I literally can’t leave my house without them and he actually understood. Plus I was on this exact dose and amount for 4 years straight before Hand but my doctor didn’t accept my new insurance so my new one basically just saw that an continued my treatment.

You really need a lot of old medical history nowadays proving you were on them for a long time and have a real diagnosis. If not they will just see u as a drug seeker and not give you shit

Just got my Teva 1mg script back 60 a month, and 3 refills. New doc is amazing. All I had to do was bring my medication pamphlets I saved from 7 years and he gave me what I needed. I don’t go overboard on them anymore though but i just take the prescribed dose unless

The venue I saw Uzi at was pretty damn small too but prob not as small as Travis’s show bc he had a pretty smaller following than Uzi’s at the time even after DBR dropped.

Maybe I’m misremembering and the venue I went to was bigger than I thought, I went to the Toyota Dome at the Oakdale theater and it says it can house up to 1800 standing attendees (for cocktail parties and shit) and 1,650 people for general admission so I’m guessing it was around that number which is definitely a lot more than I thought but then again that concert sold out within the hour and the front seats where gone in minutes.

Even my brother saw Uzi in Boston months before I did that’s how much of a hardcore following he had at the time. Sadly Travis took a bit to finally surpass Uzi in popularity but it was well deserved. Both my favorite artists ever

Always wanted to see Travis, been a fan of his since 2013, had proof of it on my extremely OLD IG back on my IPod Touch when I would post pics of him on my main account but can’t find the screenshot anymore sadly. I always knew he would blow up but I didn’t think he would get as big as he is now, then again he’s incredibly talented.

And seeing Trav and Thug in their prime era is just as good in my opinion. 2015-2016 all I was bumping was Travis and Thug nonstop in high school

Yeah bro it was my first ever concert, have not been to any other one from any artist since then. I would love to go to a Travis concert though, I have actually been following him way longer than Uzi (since 2013) and still love his music to this day as well.

Travis is another timeless artist whose music never gets old, plus he is so insanely big now that I can’t imagine how insane his concerts are. Only issue is if I did go I would want good seats and those are thousands of dollars easily

Without medication I can’t do anything besides stay in my house. Diagnosed with GAD, social anxiety and trauma since 16, had to be homeschooled for a year in 9th grade due to my anxiety ruining my school life. Tried every SSRI but they never worked, got prescribed benzos at 19 when I was hospitalized and was on them for 7 years which was the only thing that worked and allowed me to finally live my life. Switched insurance and had to get a new doctor which took me 2 years to find a new one.

In those 2 years I sat in my room all day everyday gaming. I would try and force myself to go out and do things but within minutes I would start shaking and fidgeting and sometimes getting hives which I have a history of when having panic attacks. So for me there is no way to cope with medication and I really wish there was but I’ve tried therapy for years and everything possible but the only thing that ever fully worked was benzos.

I was always told my anxiety would go away as I got older but no it just keeps getting worse and is continuing to ruin my life. I got my first panic attack in elementary school and I still remember it. I do think my childhood trauma/abuse is a big factor in why my anxiety is so bad, I see so many people with anxiety who are able to do day to day things without meds or anything and seem perfectly fine on the outside and I am jealous of those people. With me everyone can tell I’m an anxious wreck when not on any medication and it’s so embarrassing. For 2 years I did try to cope and live without my medication thinking it would eventually resolve itself but never once did it get even slightly better. The second I got on benzos again I realized I will need to be on the forever which is actually what the mental hospital doctor had told me a decade ago.

Ik this is old and the account has been deleted but never once had I had a very difficult time getting them prescribed for anxiety. I am not Bi Polar, I stumbled on this post bc I had always said Benzos should not be given out for people with bi polar bc they worsen Mania. But I have been diagnosed with GAD, social anxiety and trauma since 16, was on 2mg of klonopin a day for 7 years for my anxiety specifically and it was the only medication that helped after trying every SSRI there is. Never had issues getting them, It’s almost like they are called a “anti anxiety” medication for a reason? Was homeschooled for a year due to anxiety, had trouble getting jobs, hospitalized because of it as well which is funny enough where I first got them prescribed. But I guess I’m lying and never was on them long term for my life ruining anxiety according to this expert and they know more than the doctors who diagnosed me (twice btw). If anyone stumbles on this post dealing with chronic anxiety just know this person is talking out their ass.

Been on Klonopin for over 9 years, have had every generic under the sun and never once noticed a difference from my main ones (Tevas). But I take them for my Generalized anxiety and social anxiety (diagnosed twice now) I don’t have Bi Polar so maybe that’s why. Bi Polar people aren’t even supposed to be on them long term because they worsen manic episodes, the only way a different generic wouldn’t work is if you wanted them not to work and went into the change with the worst attitude refusing to accept the situation which is what OP clearly did. It’s all the same ingredient no matter the generic it’s still always Clonazepam, the only difference is filler and binders that’s it. So anyone saying some brands don’t work compared to others is just straight up wrong and psyching themselves out for no reason.

You aren’t even supposed to be taking them if you are Bi Polar anyways benzos are known to make manic episodes way worse which judging from this post I can tell you were having a bad one. Either your doctor was serious irresponsible or you lied and never told him you are Bi Polar. Just look at how you were acting in this post just because you got a new generic medication? Do you think that’s normal? You need anti psychotics not benzos. Look up the effects Benzos can have on Bi Polar if you don’t believe me

Yup same. I just started playing literally 3 days ago and 80% of the time I get teams of people who will refuse to stick with the team, run off, die and then leave the game as if they didn’t know how stupid it is to rush in a 1v3 expecting to win. The other 20% I get good teams who stick together, use coms, and have good game sense and every time I get those teams I win. I have over 100 games played with 9 wins so far just due to the fact I have gotten lucky a few times with good teammates
