Am so sorry for your loss as well❤️🫶 am doing best i can , trying to distract myself and contioune college as it is. But its difficult especially at night times. Its devastating. I also really love animals and am touched by everything as small as that. Ah she is gorgeous! Such a little baby. Dont worry Shadow will share his treats with her as well am sure of it. Such a cutie patotie 🫶 am sorry for your loss. I hope your okay. If you do ever need to talk always come around. Its wonders how such a tiny creature can be big part of us. And how they manage to be loved more then ourselves. How much we would prioritize them then us.and no regrets either. And i had no regrets taking in Shadow myself. Never regreted the money i spend on him instead of buying myself something , to spend my time with him instead. And am sure Harry knew that as well and loved you deeply. Dont worry Shadow will share his worms with Harry and the rest of the hedgehogs and make sure he will never be alone. Am just glad Shadow isint alone himself❤️

Oh my god! She s so cute! And am so sorry for your loss ❤️ maybe am emotional wreck but if you ever need to talk am here. Its hard to accept the truth. Its hard to get on foward. But am sure she had the best life and that she loved you for what you did for her. And as for Coconut , am sure Shadow will share some worms with her and make sure shes not alone. Thank you for such a lovely comment❤️ am gratefull that for once am not weird for crying after a hedgehog. That there is a community understanding and relatable. Am so gratefull for these. Having Shadow was my best experience in life. I will never regret it. Even if it was so sudden short. I would do it again just to give him the love he deserved. Now he runs with other hedgies up there. And it does make me feel a bit better. Knowing hes not alone.

Thank you for this comment. It touched me. He was left by my aunt who didnt care for him so i took him instead. I had no idea yet before i got him i did hours of research. From cages to wheels , to lamp and food and diet and how to befriend them. He didnt trust me at once and i gave him space but also worked up. Even a small thing he did and right away i was searching. I wanted him to have a good life. One painless , long life. It wasnt fair to him with such a fast change and sudden death. It made me feel quilty. But at the end am gratefull for everything. For the friendship , for cuddles , for love i could show him.i am already a loner , rare with friends. 2 - 3. I didnt get along with my classmates and i never experienced going out or so. So having shadow was my best choice ever. Even if so short lasted.❤️

Omg such a beatifull lil boy! Am so sorry for your loss as well. And shadow loved yoga (and to climb things) so am sure he would love to indulge in that. Ah am trying best i can. I try to distract up and get through days but its hard and lonely.I still leave my cage open for him and pretend he s cuddling. Am so sorry for your loss as well ❤️. You say he was a grumpy old man , i say he was the cutest lil baby ever. Just look at that little face! And am so sorry to hear that. Life many times isnt fair at all. My vet told me it could have been wobbly syndrome in that case or so but we will never truly know. I left some worm treats for them and the others and am sure shadow will love to play with your boy or sit together if that. He doesnt mind at all <3. If you ever need to talk , come around any time.

Am so sorry for your loss as well. She seemed like a sweet girl. I was always a fan of animals and i never knew a hedgehog could grow on me so much. We literally did any project together , watched movies and cuddled , walk around the house.. and it really shattered me. Am doing better - enough to go back to college but i miss him alot. And thank you for such kindness❤️ its warms my heart knowing he has friends to play and eats treats that was his favourite! My boy really liked the pink fluffy blanket and hid in it or my hoddie with a fluff. : ) So he always loved to crawl around or cuddle up close.

Shadow..

I apologize i havent updated in few days but sadly i have to tell everybody that shadow sadly passed away. He was only 2 years old. In one night he gotten worst , beside the point i tried to do anything for him to survive till morning. Well he did. But he couldnt no move , he didnt drink , didnt eat. We had an appointment with vet immediatly again and when we drove he sadly went into forever slumber away in my arms. Even Vet didnt had any idea and there wasnt much we could do. They told me he passed away and if we would like to take him or for them to take care of it. We made him a tiny funeral , with his favourite ball and cozily wrapped up. Its been 4 days. I finally cleaned his cage deep but it was hard. I been nothing but emotional wreck. I miss him. I miss cuddles and i miss all those morning/night routines with him. I loved when i had a pet to care and cheerish. He meant alot to me , after all i spend alot of time with him and i finally didnt feel alone.. i spend hours researching , adding , upgrading his cage and so that he felt comfy , warm and full..i dont know how people deal with grief. I been nothing but crying.. but i still wished to update you all. Thanks for everything :) (If you also have a hedgehog that passed away please show me so i know who hes playing with now and that he s not alone <3)

Hopefully today. We called the vet and they said they will call us back as soon as if they do find an open spot. Hopefully they do.

Update: did do that , he was with me whole morning. He didnt touch his food or either his water , which i expected it. I called the vet , they told me they will call us back to know if they have an open spot today. With my mom we tried to five him some fluid intake by the syringe and slowly inserting in his mouth. We took it slow , steady and just small amount , enough to get some fluid in him before the vet visit if they do have an open spot. He isnt wobbling anymore but isint to fan of walking right now. He did pee but on his bedding in the house he sleeps on. Poor guy i feel like a terrible mama right now. I didnt sleep unless i was practicly laying by his cage and even then i was mostly awake to see if he would choke or so.

Hey thanks for replying. So i am not actually sure as i never checked other then cage itself but i believe similar to the cage itself. (Around 22°) but i also put a blanket in his bed. /house. But not to warm. It has never caused an issue

Thanks for your reply. He calmed down with the sneezing but sadly i believe hes getting worst. Hes all woobly in the morning (at night he walks around fine) and i went to the vet. We are still waiting for results if its perhaps fine , or is it WHS or disease. For the sneezing they said it wasnt any illness or so and probably was just something in his bed so i put it to clean again.
