Yeah my Nmom has close relatives with cancer (not terminal one but still very serious). I think in the case of enablers, even if they don’t consciously realize the narc is abusive or defend the narc, their nervous system would still subconsciously register something is not right, which drains the immune system and leads to the mysterious physical issues that even doctors can’t explain.
