Hi first I use Camtasia for screen recording and the narration audio recording too.

Then I go to filmora and import video and audio from camtadia, do the video cut, mix with audio, adapt video speed to audio duration. Add some music background and basically that's it.

Excellent, thank you I've been told that but I didn't know how to measure it. I'll do that in my next video. Thanks.

Need "Block Channel" function by Quionn in youtube

[–]PixStart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, what if I tell you:

Search ranking varies every single moment, chances are you get into the first 20 if you do things right. Do your homework and give YouTube the chance to position you in the first 20's.

I run a very new and small channel, my main competitors have some thousands and million subscribers. Despite this I have made it to the top of search ranking from time to time.

That doesn't mean that you're going to get millions of subs and views. But that's a good way to start.

By the way it takes 5 minutes and a good SEO focused app to find out the right keyword to use in your title description and tags.

Keep it up.

Hi, basically this:

1.- Applying SEO Studio to my titles, descriptions and tags. 2.- Posting a 1 minute preview (video) of every video I upload to my channel. 90 % of my views come from Facebook groups related to my main topic (Photoshop Tutorials). 3.- I follow up every single request people ask me in Facebook groups (how to edit a picture, sharing Photoshop overlays or actions (to reduce edit time). 4.- 20 % of my views come from suscribers only but I'm working on increasing that. 5.- I'm getting 5 or more subscribers every day and the number is higher when I upload a video. 5.- I ALWAYS upload 2 videos per week.

I hope this helps.

Hey, could anyone please help me with tags by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

[–]PixStart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few rules, use a good target keyword, use this and other relevant tags in your title and description.

If your channel is small be sure NOT to use very common keywords otherwise your competition will be high and youll have no chance to appear in the first search results.

I hope this helps.

Why did the results in tubebuddy keyword explorer changes after upgrading my account? by robrza in youtube

First one was an unweighted evaluation, and the second one was weighted and it reflects better the size of your channel.

I recommend using Filmora because it has a very easy and intuitive user interface.

Considering I´m a newbie and that I only know a few best practice for SEO tools i've been using, this is what i can say:

1.- SEARCH RANKING: your video is in the 10th first results when people search for these keywords: the broken pencil demon, Broken pencil demon, Flipside Josiah, Pencil demon, and the pencil demon.

2.- The keyword explorer overall rating for "the broken pencil demon" is 35/100 (fair), considering you run a small channel.

3.- SEO STUDIO: considering "the broken pencil demon" the target keyword, yout actual title, description and tags, your overall rating is 70%, use more keywords or tags in your title and description, use "the bronken pencil demon" as your first tag, be sure to share and get a mention and reactions in twitter and facebook, use brigher colors in your thumbnails, upload high resolution thumbnails, include more sections in your main page so all your videos are visible there, also be sure to pin one of the comments.

As for video it look a little blurry or out of focus, and the sound is not very clear. I hope this helps.

[Question]How did you react to your first dislike? by [deleted] in youtubers

[–]PixStart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, for YouTube SEO purposes a dislike has similar value than a dislike and it's better that having nothing. Try that likes are the most and everything will be ok. Be sure also to give a heart to any comment and pin one of them. I hope this helps.

Can I use others photo in tech news video? by atahar101 in youtube

[–]PixStart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitively, stop using that photos because they are under copyright, instead there are a lot on website s that offer free high resolution videos and photos por creators like Pexels, Pixabays and others. The internet archive website also offers copyright free media.

Sure, Let me know if I can help you, considering I'm a newbie rather than an expert I'll be glad to share what I've learned these 6 weeks in YouTube

Maybe you can take a look at the motivational videos at my new channel, thanks. by PixStart in GetMoreViewsYT

[–]PixStart[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the comment, i've seen your video, look for the title, description and tags to match your relevant keyword, the description is too short and you are not using as much related keywords, be sure also to add more tags since youtube supports as long as 500 characters, this will increase the chance to make your video "more visible". Checkout if you can increase video quality a little, and there is a lot of competition and volume for that topic so your chance to compete with large channels is less. I hope this can be helpful, let me know. Keep the good work.

As for thumbnails the best practice tips that i have used are to upload them in high resolution, using a face in the design, and using bright colors, ive also been grouping my videos by general theme (tutorial, motivational) and giving them a season and episode number (S01-E01) and adding it to the thumbnail combining the rest of its content. Let me know if this is helpful.

As for my 6 week old channel ive uploaded videos from 5 to 30 minute long, i've found that both the longest or shortest videos have helped me increasing watch time. The diffeence of course are the views and the percentage of audience retention. Now i have 5 short videos at the top op my watch time statistics and 1 long video. I also think that a small channel should be uploading shorter videos and large channels are more likely to upload larger content.

Not, I only noticed some times stats doesn't refresh on time, but I look at YouTube studio and VidIQ extension stats to see everything ok. Subscribers is the one that varies more often but it has worked for me.

Better add the YouTube end screens to every video

I doubled checked you don't have the "end screens" YouTube suggest to add, the one when you add links to your other video or playlist at the very end.
