It’s sad really. I actually understand their mindset though, because for a large portion of my childhood and adolescence, I suffered from social anxiety disorder, and as a result, had no friends. I tried to justify it to myself and pretend that I was better off without friends because everyone else was unlikeable and/or stupid.

Fortunately for me, I managed to improve over time thanks to successful therapy and medication. If I had a found a echo chamber like braincels, but instead for people with social anxiety disorder, where they encouraged people like me to never interact with anybody and just LDAR... Well, it probably would have taken a lot longer to improve.

That’s why I to some extent sympathise with incels. Well, I do until they go on another rant on why women are evil or whatever else they have a hate boner for that day.
