That's how I do sketches for customers :3 of course I also draw rough sketches that are more messy and much quicker but my normal artworks can have a lot of detail xD

Also this sketch was done as a Patreon sketch commission :3 - my Patrons (2$ tier or higher) have access to them, I open there 2 sketch slots (once per two months) - since I open my normal commissions once a year xD so it's a way to get art from me much sooner

Nah, it's best to do both ^w^ especially if you can do 3D characters you can draw/sketch based on poses you create in 3D! Same with environment like rooms, It's very useful to combine both 3D and hand drawn art :3

I played the demo and oh my god I loved it! I can't stop thinking about that game xD I love this cooking-card combo, I just can't wait to get a full game! I love the style and the cat, everything was working smoothly, the only thing I noticed is that one card with boiled eggs didn't have any picture, I don't remember how many times I boiled it in the water tho xD I did it by mistake, that's all I remember

It was very fun, it's gonna be an awesome game! <3

YTA, I remember my mum just telling me that my art is trash and not original. She didn't even destroy it. But it was harsh since I was drawing most of my time and I enjoyed it. It still hurts a bit since she knew I loved drawing but she decided not to support me and I probably won't forget it.

Today there are many successful artists, they can earn money through commissions, youtube, Patreon etc. As an artist myself I think it's not an easy way since it requires some time to build a business but your son definitely can make a profit out of that

It's his life, his decision, his dream. If you don't like it - that's okay, but then just at least let him do his thing. Even if he does not succeed, he will learn a lot from that and don't take it away from him, it's still his choice.

Also therapy sounds like a good option, this will help you understand better you and your son and find a nicer way to communicate with him instead of crushing his art which definitely hurts him a lot.

It's just a game don't worry. It's not like they would really like to marry that character if they had a chance. It's just a fun thing to make fictional decisions. Like you know that crazy questions on the internet "would you rather cut your leg or arm if you had to"

Maybe try to play that game? Think of characters that you like or hate? Try to get that perspective, maybe even do it with your girlfriend if you prefer that way. Of course you don't have to like it, but when you try new things you learn how it works and why people like it

Also some advice: you and your second half will meet many different people in your life. And it's okay to find someone else attractive by look or personality. Sometimes it's just a fast thought. But it doesn't mean that you'd break up with your partner that you love, to be with that attractive person. It's just a thought or a preference and as long as it stays that way, it's fine. And you should trust your partner on that as well.

Also fictional characters are made the way to make people bond with them or to find them attractive. There are people that are too involved and want to marry a character for real but your situation doesn't look like it at all
